My post count is irrelevant to this matter, but what does is how Ferrari managed to lose the WDC? Someone should be fired.

Seriously. Give the kid some credit. He deserves the championship, who deserves it more than him??? Seriously....Alonso had a great second half, but didn't get it done today. Webber couldn't beat Vettel when it really counted (in fact he threw it away himself).

Alonso's comment was rich. He basically called Petrov "aggressive" for not rolling over and yielding position.

They didnt lose anything. Red bull had the better car all year. Today was the only race where the teams were all allowed to do what THEY wanted to do. RACE. Its too bad the tracks are built for the view more than they are for racing.

If Vettel wasn't such a **** at the start of the season maybe I could be happy for him :(:(:(

Alonso seemed merry in his post race interview

Top 3 represent the past 3 year title winners

Fantastic result! Even Webber will admit he didn't get the job done - the best driver won this year; in an amazing season.
Ferrari's team orders backfired - hopefully they will reevaluate strategy

I was surprised - but shouldn't be - that Alonso walked right past vettels car in parc firm and didn't congratulate the new champ.

If Kimi hadn't gone loco we could have six champions in F1 next season....

five different champions in the past five years.

we live in a golden age, I think.

Firing Stefano Domenicali is the perfect strategy IMHO.

He wasn't called Alonshole here without reason. The epithet seems to have died down since he got employed by Ferrari.

Massa has been pretty useless since the Nurburgring. What did they expect???

It's pretty simple...if you're at a track where passing is impossible, you stay out until everyone else pits. I'm certain Alonso could have managed his back tires. He came in far too early for there to have been a legitimate problem.

I'm not the one that declared "Ferrari = Failure" and that someone should get a pink slip as a result of. ;)

We all have to support the company man, but it doesn't change the fact that Alonso is as boorish as they come. Strategy cost him the WDC at the end of the day, not Petrov. Unless someone is waving a blue flag, he did the job Renault hired him to do.

Well--next year we will have 5 WDC competing in F1. What a great season!!!I am glad I was able to see Monza and Montreal live. Congratulations for Vettel and Redbull. Ferrari--you need to push harder. I know a lot of people do not like Alonso - but only he and Hamilton are able to make such a comeback. Massa was the big disappointment for me this year.....
