I agree, it is a GREAT car...but I NEED to make room for another toy inbound..just way to many toy's for me right now...and I dont want to part with any of the TWO SV cars currently

As far as I know it is one of only TWO Manual 6 speed LP550-2 cars in the USA currently..

I can say I drove this car for the first time today...first time in a Balboni and even though it was short lived, HOLY COW!!! MILES and MILES apart from the Gallardo and IMHO, 10 times better than the 560. AMAZING low end torque...I can see h ow this car could EASILY be someone's favorite. And let's not forget that turning radius! The thing just kept turning! Incredible...got it right with this one too.

I'm sensing a very fun game of "Where's Kevin" come this Thursday...considering I'll have both the Balboni AND Roy's new toy in my possession....hehehehehehehe Listen for the exhaust notes as I cross the USA/Mexico border playing Lacucaracha at full blast baby! El Diabla in Da Casa!!!!

    :(

I love that car, the color and the wheels, the 6-speed gearbox, it's perfect.

Sad to see it go, but excited to see Roy's next toy, any hints? :D

I hope you enjoy your new Lambo. I just bought a 560-4 convertable. I like the car alot. The button you push for more exhaust sound is my favorite feature.

You got a great deal. I hate to tell you what I paid for mine, I feel embarressed. Enjoy safely.

    My 560-4 is a 2010 egear car.

There are buttons on my car Corsca (far right only for e-gear). middle button is A and then sport. The sport makes the sound better. On my E- gear I push A then Sport and it displays A S on the drivers panel. I think the muffler is open a little bit. I do not think it is by changing the rpm for gear shifts.

I have other vontrols but some are convertable, back window up/down , front nose up or down and so forth.

    I hope that helps.

I looked at the picture of your interior where your manual shift knob is. Yours does not seem to have it. it must be e gear rpm related. I assume your car is a 2010 model? My older 2004 Lambo did not have it.

I will call the Lambo dealer tomorrow. I hope I did not mislead you.

    Roy or anyone else...

Knowing that the balance production Balboni is frozen with E-Gear 'till the end of production, who knows how many were produced with manual gearbox from last September untill December ???

How many were delivered in Europe ?

    Daniel,
from what I've heard this last week end with Lambo Brussels people, factory wants to save money over their inventory... and it is more profitable to have production line with only one kind of gearbox : E-Gear.

All this, is only a matter of profitability that disgusses me : no possibility to order a Balboni with 6MG... where is the "essence" of a 2WR without a 6MG ?

I'm that point schoked that it was offered to me to order a LP-560 with a 6 manual gearbox, as it is not yet frozen on production line...

Also LP640 is stopped on production line and only LP-670 will be produced 'till July, just before holidays !!!

The foreman at the Lambo shop said the "sport" button does increase the sound of the car without changing the shift pattern. He said it is a solenoid valve that opens to let more sound out.

today sat while driving the 560-4 I pushed the "sport" button and did not notice any rpm change with the tachometer and the increase of sound was noticeable.

I guess it must be an egear "thing".
    Thanks, :)
