dipstick1, your not cruising around the FL. Starbucks lots with sexyback blaring from the radio are you. Detroit Rock City, well OK....LOL! ps. send some more warm weather this way. Also noticed 806 mi., Congrats on the new toy, or is this an exciting test drive!
Top was down, both hands on the wheel, iphone in the glovebox, no question the Cali is a real Fcar. Shifts are instant... and the 458 claims even faster shifts... No spillin coffee in Senoirs car now....
So...if you saw these speed bumps in the road ahead of you, would you crap your pants? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
so its 2am, I am up working ... 5 hrs left before I get to go home. Winter SUCKS, it really does. I am definitely feeling the doldrums and there is still quite a ways to go. I really miss taking my car out and hanging with you guys
On the speed bump note. I would love to see all of the skid marks prior to the hole. You can not even slalom through them. That can not be in the usa. Frank February is upon is and it is a short month. So we are like 60 days from fun. Wow that's a lot. Not sure about today told Carrie I would join in on her routine church and grocery shopping.
Finally made it back today, picked up the calendar. Great to see the guys. Jay, my hats off to you, you did a phenomenal job with the calendars. You deserve a huge THANKYOU for all the behind the scenes leg work it took to accomplish this.
Thanks Pete! Frank - hmmm...sounds like you just had low expectations If my math is correct, and it's been wrong before apparently, I have 5 left. I'll keep bringing them on Sunday's unless I get a PM and somebody wants to meet up during the week somewhere. Again all are spoken for, but I can order one at a time for $26 including shipping, just let me know.
I have the "official" FCA national videos from 1990, '91 and '93. I watched them a few weeks ago while waiting out one of the weekend snow storms. They are VHS. Does anyone else remember VHS? They are a great record of the Ferrari world from some 20 years ago. If anyone would like to borrow them (implies return when done) I can bring them to Gbury or I'll even send them to you via UPS. 1990 - Watkins Glen Featured car 275 Covers check-in, swap meet, concours, track day. First glimpse of the 348 - driven by Dr. Grecco. Nice in car footage at the end. Two hours 1991 - Summit Point Virginia Featured cars are the machines from the Cannonball Run F40s everywhere you looked !!! Covers check-in, swap meet, concours, track day. Nice in car footage from '61 Testa Rossa and F40 (note informality including trips around the track sans helmets) 90 minutes 1992 - Grand Rapids Michigan 30th anniversary of the FCA I was there but I believe that there was no "official" video available that year 1993 - Palm Beach Florida Featured car Daytonas (silver anniversary) Lots of rare machines presented on the display field. Track day at Moroso. - Ed -
Sounds like cool videos Ed, but what is this VHS you speak of? I'll be there tomorrow morn, 5 calendars in hand for those who I haven't met up with yet to hand out.
Ed I would Love to borrow 1990 the Glen, that was the first FCA event I did the drivers eduction on the Track. I even have a certificate somewhere. Jay I will be there in the A.M to collect my calendar, I already missed January, do I get a discount, I only get 11 usable months.......
Uconn, VHS was a type of media that we utilized back in the day to record and share audio and visual data. I'm not surprised that you have not heard of it as you weren't even born yet when it was is use. It went the way of the dodo bird just after the slide rule did. Anyone else remember the slide rule? Dipstick1 - Shoot me an PM with your shipping address and I will gladly send the tape to you via UPS. - Ed -
Waiting for spring? Well some guys aren't. This picture was taken this morning at Cars and Coffee in Las Vegas. Check out that Alfa! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice winter turnout today...ok most in daily drivers, but Phil's TR is always up for the drive! Spring isn't far away now...
