I started a Salary Cap League 'Ferrari Chat', but Yahoo changed it and they are in cahoots with Facebook, you have to have a Facebook logon to join. I don't like that, but there is no other choice. If you played last year, it is totally different this year, and the player values are MUCH higher than they should be to start the season. There are no limits to how many teams can join a Salary Cap League, ie it is not limited to 10 or 12 teams. http://apps.facebook.com/salarycapfootball/index.php?p=565&fb=100001535760141&utm_source=fbFeed&utm_medium=leagueinvite&pageconstant=POOL_INVITEURL Be patient as we work thru the nuances of how they organized the new way of playing, but go ahead and sign up if you would like to.
Let me rephrase: Yahoo changed everything about their Salary Cap Leagues compared to last year, they are not the same at all. Aside from totally changing the dashboard/control panel, there are very few bargain players this year. Last year you could get decent RB's on bad teams CHEAP, but this year, not at all. Even #3 WR's and any of the top 20 TE's are not cheap at all, neither are most rookies, whereas last season you could get Mark Sanchez, Matt Stafford, Forsett, Greg Olsen, Hakeem Nicks - folks like that - CHEAP. I hope a few of you step up and take a shot, I don't want to win a league championship if I am the only one in it.
The players values are a little inflated, but you can still create a pretty decent team. I just picked my players and you're in trouble...
Ok, I see today that Yahoo has dropped the values of players by about 20%, so it will be a lot easier to field a halfway decent team. You still have to have a silly 'Facebook' account, but give it a shot. I am still working on Rob to let the winner of the league free use of his Enzo for a week.
I just saw this today. My team is now upgraded So one of us will get to drive an Enzo? Sounds good to me... let's not allow any more teams in our 2 man league!
