Hmmm.... The plot thickens with Ferraris flappy wing it seems. They claimed it was simply a manufacturing defect affecting a single wing last time and here we are again. They're up to something but I'm not sure even they know quite what at the moment..... I suspect we're going to see a few flappy wings early next year. Cheers, Ian
Flappy paddles, flappy wings. This sport needs to grow a backbone. This goes to show how well Newey got his design done a year ago. All this time later and SF still can't do it.
Red Bull and Mclaren have to favored for next year. Lets hope Ferrari have something in the pipeline.
If it makes 'em quicker, fine with me!...... Now, whether we'll witness a few of 'em oscillating wildly next year remains to be seen..... What I'm not understanding is why all the sparks? [I didn't think carbon fiber sparks?] Indeed. But then neither can any of the others it seems..... If they can somehow get it to "stick" down rather than flap around it could be a big deal. Still nothing from Charlie on it - I was almost expecting one of his famous "clarifications" - He's got to be looking at it. Cheers, Ian
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/96114 - Ferrari not sure why Massa's wing is flapping ....again.
Williams once again showing thier true colors. Rubens' engine has an oil pressure failure and he doesn't get out for Session 1, and then they give him an engine with crapload of km's on it for the rest of the weekend. At this point it doesn't matter, but it still stuns me how far they have fallen since last year... I also am hoping that Rubens will come to the states to race in Sportscars next year as he likely will be out of F1...it would be awesome to finally meet him. MB
Vettel waiting till the track cools. Ferrari it seems are trying to make a point with there flappy wing to the rule makers as regards the daft way it is tested.
