Here we go. 20 races next year..... 2011 F1 calendar: 13/03 Bahrain 27/03 Australia 10/04 Malaysia 17/04 China 08/05 Turkey 22/05 Spain 29/05 Monaco 12/06 Canada 26/06 Europe (Valencia) 10/07 Great Britain 24/07 Germany 31/07 Hungary 28/08 Belgium 11/09 Italy 25/09 Singapore 09/10 Japan 16/10 Korea 30/10 India* 13/11 Abu Dhabi 27/11 Brazil * Subject to the homologation of the circuit
Well if India GP happens(Which I doubt it will) then it gives me a good excuse to go back to my home country.
Why is there a "homologation of the circuit" next to India? I thought this was another street circuit race in which case, what's there really to homologate? Or are they actually building a racetrack (I thought not)? It's funny how they doubt India with over a year to go but have no problem rubber stamping the construction site that Korea is today.
What that means is that the layout for the street circuit is yet to be approved, nothing more than that. I don't think this puts the race "in doubt" at all. As for Korea, it just looks like the circuits they used to run on in the '60s and '70s.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iD5jHiTK_pA
Strangely the FIA reconfirmed the calendar last week despite Monaco being listed as the week before Ascension suggesting a change is coming (as this year)
