that is a beautiful color.. just stunning .. I wish they had put the GTO front grill on these .. but very nice..
Rosso Fiorano is so stunning. Never been a fan of the two-tone on the SA Aperta. Would look much better if they painted it all the same color.

It's Rosso Fuoco. The vast majority of the dark metallic red 599SA are that colour. Rosso F1 2007 is actually quite rare on them...
Carbon Fiber hard top is a rare feature typically added later. This SA Aperta looks great in Rosso Fiorano. The silver further distinguishes it from the 'regular' 599 version.
My understanding is that the car, when introduced, did not have the hard top option. But owners complained that when going over 60 mph with the soft top created buffeting. So the factory responded by creating the carbon fiber hard top and offered it to the owners. We have the receipt for this one and it cost $36,000., so most owners did not opt to buy it. That's why 599 SA Apertas with hard tops are few.
I know you had a TDF about a year or so ago that was just beautiful an unusual spec but very nice...and very unique.. I really liked it but fortunately someone bought it...LOL/ someone got a very 599 aperta..
