Agree I thought he drove well, at least he was having a go. Two bad pit calls, first to bring Mark in when they did and second to bring Jensen in when he was 15 seconds out in front. I would have liked to see him win. Everything is good in hindsight, but great race, very entertaining.
he drove like an idiot, he'll be great in NASCAR with the other rammers it's obvious who was paying the bills
I saw that, didnt even get a reaction out of him either. Must be like the British Royal Gaurds where they stand their ground.
One feels for Maldanado, losing his first points. Hamilton had too easy a ride to F1 or he might see that.
I agree 100% with Lewis, the rest of the drivers need to harden the **** up! [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unkIVvjZc9Y[/ame]
I can't believe he said it "its because I'm black" !!!! That won't win him any friends. For too long the FIA let Senna get away with barging, then Schumacher, all justified by "the show". Finally the stewards are doing their job and being consistent and in the long term that is going to result in better driving.
He did say the "like Ali G says" comment. (who, of course, isn't black) Leave the poor guy alone, he adds to the spectacle.
If you were in his position, you'd probably say "its because I'm from Queensland", cos you're all sooks up there.
It's all a show these days. I want to see people trying to overtake. How many years of F1 racing did we watch where people wouldn't try to pass Schumi? No sooks up here, as I said, everyone needs to... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unkIVvjZc9Y[/ame]
no he wasn't , .... he's a ***** my idea of the perfect race is Vettel and him taking each other out at the first corner and Webber, Button, Alonso fighting it out with heaps of passing Look at that pass Webber made on Kobyashi, didn't take anyone out, look at the pass Schu did on sleepy old Hamster at the Hairpin, then look at the idiot's "passes"
Spot on. The dive down the inside when the other car is already commited to the corner is deliberate intimidation - it counts on the reflex action of the guy in front to steer away from contact, thus making room where there wasn't any. Hamilton is using the same bullying tactic as Schumacher and Senna, move over or I'll take you out. The FIA have stamped out weaving on the straight, it's great that they're acting on this foul play now. I could just imagine the McLaren marketing people squirming in their seats as Hamilton called the stewards "frickin" this and that - no sponsors want to be associated with bad behaviour. And remember, he would have had about a thousand hours of media training to practice situations where journos are goading him into losing his head.
But isn't it great to see he's human? If he didn't care I wouldn't think he'd be as interesting to watch. We need him at the pointy end so he can take out Vettel and Webber can win a few races.
And yet....both he and MS did fantastic overtakes on each other which were clean and excellent racing.
and did you see Schumi move over for other drivers more than once? I was amazed, my cynical thought is that Mercedes have told him to clean up his act. He pulled a great pass on Nico too.
