Virgin cancelled my 6am flight, want to put me on a 10am flight. Need to be in Brisbane by 8am, to catch 9am flight to Isa. I looked, to change my flight from 9am to 3pm, its going to cost me an extra $55 for the ticket and $55 to change booking. An extra $110, on top of the $886 I already paid to fly home. Scum bags mate, I am going to attack these ****s tomorrow when they call me tomorrow morning.
They just called me, pretty much said I am ****ed because its in the Terms and Conditions that I AGREED to! I changed flights, extra $110. Its only money, but thats not the point right? **** em, **** em in their stupid asses.
Virgin again........... Arrived at Airport today to catch my 12 pm flight to Brisbane. Boarded the plane via stairs at the rear. I walked past two techs that had an engine cover lifted up. We all boarded the plane and waited for 2 hrs couped up on the plane while they fixed a "minor" engine issue. They run the engine up and down doing tests while we waited. They offered us complimentary pay tv for free in the plane while we waited. I was dying of thirst, just wanted water. Didnt give me any. We eventually got off the ground and made it to Brisbane. They delayed the Qantas plane to Rockhampton because of 8 passengers on that flight. I almost missed my Mount Isa Qantas flight because of the 2 hr delay and delayed disembarking because they wanted to off load the Rockhampton passengers first. What a day, eventually got home at 6.30 pm. Didnt have time to eat anything all day, so ive got lamb shanks cooking in the oven now as we speak.

That was AWESOME! Tell me why they cant hold a race there? Put up some big fences to catch flying parts, add some/more tyres along the walls/barricades and its all good!
