2011 Korean GP Practice 1/2/3 ***SPOILERS***

What time/channel is the race on?

Speed says the *Japanese* GP is airing @ 01:30 on Sunday AM EST (Saturday night) - is that a mistake, or is this one of the races Fox is showing and Speed is doing a replay of last week?

 

Good morning! Looks like less wet and less rain now. Clearing in 15 minutes. Maybe in this session later we can see who is fast!

 

Lots of rain? Does that mean the snakes of the swamps there will invade the track again?

I hope for a wet race..but damn, i'll probably miss the race. Classes

 

Track took very long to dry out. I watched the last hour of P2, and even though slicks where attempted, it was still a good 10 laps away for slicks to even be considered...

 

Rain predicted for qualifying ? Raceday ?

 

its going to be dry over the weekend. should be interesting. 5 stops is expected for this race. boring qualifying.

 

It never rains in South Korea.

Seems they're gonna install some lights on the pit straight to try and warn 'em about guys leaving the pits;

Apparently, they already do the same in Monaco.

Odd that they'd design a track with such a "quirk".

I don't recall if there were any "problems" with it last year? I do know it rained like crazy, but don't think there were any incidents ala Nico's.....

Neither do I.
It's an odd circuit. A street layout without buildings.

 

It will be a qualifying session between Mclaren (spoil vettel's party) and Vettel (going for nigel's 14 pole record), the rest are going to just do just 1 flying lap (some might not even do a lap) at Q3 and preserve the fresh tires for the race.

 

I think Vettel will be gunning for it, one of the Mclaren boys may spoil it for him.

 

If it rains enough anything could happen.
