Red Mondial on Liberty Corner Road in Far Hills
Did a 100 mi bike ride from Orient Point to Montauk today and saw quite a few exotics. 2 458's (Mattituck and South Hampton), a black 430 Challenge Stradale and Lamborghini LM002 near South Hampton, a black F430 in Sag Harbor, a Porsche GT2 on Shelter Island, a few Aston Martins and many Bentley's.
Many years ago my wife and I decided to count Rolls Royces and Bentleys on a trip from East Hampton to Southampton. I think we saw more than 10 on the road in that 15 mile stretch of Rt 27. Out there Porsches are as common as dirt, Mercedes are everywhere (the C class is the nanny's car) and the quantity of Aston Martins, Ferraris and Maseratis is impressive. Last year I saw the Jaguar XJ13 replica along the road around Water Mill. Stopped and chatted with the owner. Technically it wasn't a "real" XJ13 since there was only one, but other than that it was the same as the original. Not Ferrari yellow. It was a pale, more pastel yellow. I really liked it. Reminded me of the yellow Rolls in the Great Gatsby.
