From 319k asking, down to 299k asking, all three of them at once: http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/searchresults.xhtml?zip=99336&endYear=2013&modelCode1=458ITALIA&startYear=1981&makeCode1=FER&numRecords=25&searchRadius=0&Log=0 I am referring to the one's in Florida, but not interested, no race seats.
No preferences, yellow, black, rossa corsa, white, silverstone / grigio, but it must have race seats. Will not take Daytona's, Standard, or Diamond pattern. Feel free to PM me if you are a dealer, or are looking to sell your own car. For those like me, that usually buy pre owned this is what I am figuring: 2010's - 20k depreciation, 10k / year, and $2.00 / mile deducts. 2011's - Getting close to 10k depreciation, but not there yet. Basically MSRP to 5k over max, for 2k miles or less. 2012's - 15k over sticker pre-owned, or order new.
I still love your humor. Need one of those vintage phone pictures thrown in, still my favorite of all time, think you were comparing F1 transmission to 6 speed manual, evolution of technology. Just thought some might be interested, as all 3 at Ft. Lauderdale came down 20k today.
I have given up on a used one. I want black or red. 2011. I am going to order a new one and wait a year.
What are you looking for? I know where most of them are, send me a PM with color, seat options, etc., optimum mileage etc. I know lowest prices some would take also over retail.
You are going to have a really hard time ordering a new 2011, even if you are willing to wait a year.
You mean a new 2012. Agree, the line will be making 2 spiders for every coupe so the wait will be longer. That's what we all guess, but hey for the money IMHO, you should get exactly what you want. Matty...you'll get something eventually. Till then, drive the heck out of the Lambo.
It would be a 2013. A year from now the will announce the replacement. So my car would depreciate just like any other. I ave bought 3 Ferraris and several other cars from my dealer but I won't live long enough to get a spider. It makes me want to enjoy my 599 for awhile and just go back to Porsche and Mercedes. I own one of each now and they are great cars.
There's no real way of knowing. It would have to be made in late July to be 2013. But, as we all know, the schedules move around a lot when you place your order. Most likely, the dealer would know at the time of actually ordering your car. I was told 2012 on the order form and it was a late July build that showed up in mid September. When I gave my dealer the go ahead, I did not know what model year it was. I was surprised it was 012 (happily it turns out). Then again, the dealer may have no say so as Ferrari and FNA are the ones who set the quotas. The warranty goes by months and not model year. So, you get 36 months from the time of possession no matter what "year" it is.
I meant what month? The F430 was produced for 5 years. The Scuderia for 2 years, 16m for 1. So if they do the same, we should see the 458 Stradale in 2013, conv. version 2014, then new model? The 458 Spider has been delayed vs. F430 Spider. There will be plenty of Spiders available from the flippers. Just probably cheaply spec'd without race seats. I would rather have the Stradale vs. the Spider. Still haven't fallen in love with the looks.
I'm planning on the opposite. Mine will be fully spec'd and I expect to have it 3 years. It may also be my last one. I may go back to classic after this.
