Well, dayum!...... I go camping in the land of no TV's, wi-fi or even cell phones and return to this! My man on the podium! Woo-hoo! Pretty good race again IMO - I don't have a problem with domination like that as long as it's not all season - Good job by Sebby-V. Also interesting looking back thru this thread, but I'm not gonna bother highlighting some of the "crazier" comments as hindsight is always wonderful. To be fair to the guy, he's responding to the usual inane journo questions; "what must you do to improve?", "How are you going to be more successful?" etc - What's he meant to say? You did note the source, right? Not me! Hopefully, it'll be interesting to watch it unfold though - Many column inches and electrons will be used (wasted?) on the inevitable "analysis"...... Cheers, Ian
TBH, we actually stayed on a house boat - Extremely pleasant - No "roughing it" here. [Damn thing had a hot tub up top - Very nice! ] And the water was *perfect* (at times) - If you're a water skier you know what I mean.... /hijack Cheers, Ian
Wouldn't want you with an uneasy mind. It's actually a waterski / wakeboard/surf club that I've been in for years - We do *actually* camp for most events..... Much fun! Cheers, Ian
There was some camping done at the back of my place this year, no joke! it was for real.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Holey-moley! Where was that? Other than "your backyard". Biggest problem we have when camping is the water tank on the site sits atop a hill and shower water is friggin' *hot*. Particularly after a day in the sun...... I love CA Cheers, Ian
Its a ... I'll send you the link it's quicker... it was horrendous for the poor sods, I get free tickets for the disruption, however needless to say I didn't use them.. http://www.creamfields.com/

[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7HhefopHzg[/ame] Alonso forced kimi until kimi hit the grass, kimi's wing clipped Alonso's tire and that was that as they say...
yeah...I knew that bit. I was just unsure about the actual reason Alonso stopped and if the wing did, in fact, cause a puncture.
You know I'm a big Alonso fan so don't think for a minute I'm bashing him, but: He killed the engine. Even with that flat he might have made it back to the pits and possibly ended up somewhere in the points. IMHO not totally Kimi's/fate's fault that Alonso had a DNF.
A flat rear tyres causes lots of damage to a car even in a slow single lap as it flaps around and destroys itself. He would have had to go unbelieveably slow ... probably would have lost a couple of laps. All the pressure is on Alonso now, just like it used to be on MS back in the 96' to 2000 days. Pete
In an interview, Alonso said Kimi could have backed off. While that's true, I don't see why he should have. OTOH, without Kimi backing off I don't know how it could have been avoided.
You still use tapes?!?! I believe so as well. you mean MercHam? Yes, Checo will outscore him next year.
You never can tell. I don't know if stalling could have been avoided but it removed any small possibility of points.
