    You may want to reconsider.
    I agree with you.

No one was going to bother the RBs yesterday. We Tifosi should be over the moon with the result.
The only chance for a better finish would have been another RB mechanical failure.

Enough with this "poor me" victim stance you're taking here. I said "wow" in response to your post, that is hardly "assaulting" or "slapping" you.

The problem is that you're an obvious Massa fan/Alonso hater and are not approaching this rationally. Let's say Massa did get up and get past Webber. Wonderful, now Massa is in 2nd and Webber in 3rd. Could Alonso have been able to pass Webber? No, because if he could have, he would have done it while Massa was behind him in this race.

The end result would be Massa 2nd, Webber 3rd and Alonso 4th. Thus costing Alonso 3 additional points to Vettel in the WDC. Regardless of this race, the fact that you think Ferrari should be letting its drivers race when one is in close contention for the WDC and the other isn't in the same universe is beyond me.

Also, if you think the Red Bull drivers race on equal footing, you should think again. Remember Silverstone 2011? Red Bull did the EXACT same thing as Ferrari did in Korea 2012, telling Webber to back off and not pass Vettel yet here you are criticizing Ferrari for the same thing.

The team where the drivers do seem to race equally, McLaren, has not won a WCC since 1998. Food for thought.

Holding one driver back to favour another strikes me as a strategy that will only benefit the WDC. To win the WCC you would actually have to get both cars finishing to a good natural potential, rather than relying on a great driver to force the car into better results.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

While I don't disagree with your premise in today's celebrity world a WDC is much more prized than a WCC is.

Yea, it's strange isn't it? Traditionally, the WCC was always the most important thing to the team, but today's F1 is completely the reverse.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Well they've only won 3 WDCs in that span too. Arguably back when they had a #1 and #2 policy (The Hakkinen/Coulthard years, Hamilton/Kovalainen). Since having two strong drivers in the team on equal status they haven't won one.

Rationally.....as in using the word 'goldfish' to describe me in another thread.

Red Bull are also publicly saying before Korea that there drivers were racing. Talk to the teams if you feel so strongly. I could care less. No food and no thought thank you! Or at least no goldfish!! LOL! :)
We all like or not like different drivers and teams even with Ferrari. I am not required to think like you at all. Move along!

    O....K...

It has been proven that Vettel is the clear #1 and Red Bull has done the exact same thing Ferrari did in Korea in the past (Silverstone 2011). Also, if Red Bull is letting Weber race Vettel at this point (I don't believe that), they are idiots! We'll see what happens in India if Webber is ahead with Vettel right behind. Webber will be pulling over, you watch.

As they say, ignorance is bliss. Let's face it, having Massa race Fernando at this stage in the championship is beyond idiotic. Apparently you DO care because you're all offended over saying "wow" in response to your posts and saying you have a goldfish memory.

    Oh boo hoo.

The difference with Silverstone is that the #2 driver didn't listen to team orders and instead went after the position :D.

Red Bull doesn't have much choice but to let them race. Even when Webber is 63 points back with 4 races left. Given a more agreeable #2 I'm sure they would do the same as Ferrari at this point in the season. It makes sense.

"Letting" Weber race doesn't seem to have much effect.

Yeah, I heard that too. I suspect he found a little team order from the boss to let Seb go by off the line.....

    Cheers,

I remember a funny quote by Webber, he won, and said over the team radio.:

"Not bad for number 2 driver eh"

I told you Massa was better at circuits like this :D. He was hosed out of a podium but I understand why. No worries

That was bizarre to learn. Why build something like that and then only use it once a year.
