All, As promised this event is going to take place again this year on July 21st. We plan on having a specific FerrariChat parking section at the event to make it easier to find people (this was lost in translation last year) and will be getting a discount on ticket pricing as well. There is a slight change in the process for someone to purchase a corral ticket this year. Instead of buying a single ticket that includes both corral and admission, one just needs to buy their admission ticket, and buy the corral ticket as a separate add-on. Admission tickets are $33 until July 13th, at which point they go up to the gate price of $50. Corral tickets are $15 for non-FerrariChat members. FERRARI2012 is your clubs discount code for this year- it will give anyone who uses it on a corral ticket $5 off. CORRAL TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED BEFORE THE DAY OF THE EVENT, THEY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE DAY-OF. Tickets are available at http://tickets.limerock.com We also have a FB page setup where we will be posting news of the event. Help us make it popular and check out some pics from last years event Link -> https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lime-Rock-Park-Ferrari-Challenge/242941115732144 LRP also has a great HD highlight video which can be found here Link -> http://www.limerock.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=272&Itemid=140 Will post details as they become available Brett
Gents (and Ladies), We are putting together a raffle which will include a Skip Barber 1 Day High Performance Driving school at Limerock. For those unfamiliar see description below. I've personally done this and its a great time. What better way to test drive a number of high end cars than at a venue like this all while improving your skillset. And another that will be at, shall we say a highly desirable garage in the NE region. HPD School: The time-proven Skip Barber Racing formula, experienced behind the wheel of a variety of high performance sports cars. You drive them hard in a multitude of settings: autocross, skid pad, threshold braking zones and of course, the race track. You’ll practice and come to understand at-the-limit vehicle dynamics as you practice slides and recoveries, "lane tosses" and accident avoidance techniques. And all the while you can contrast and compare the handling, power and ergonomics of different high-end sports cars. Cars include Porsche 911/Cayman, Lexus IS-F, Lotus Elise, BMW M3 Value: $1800 USD Keep posted for more details, should have them up by Monday.
Guys - to obtain a corral pass you should be able to simple buy them using this link: http://tickets.limerock.com/orderticketsarea.asp?p=485&a=2&backurl=default.asp Let me know if thats not working for you
That link seems like it should work...but ends up being $14.50 anyway with a 'processing fee' of $4.5? I don't want to be the Ferrari owner complaining about $4.50 It's just the idea of this fee for online ticket sales kills me...just bought some tix to a UConn celebrity basketball game and ticketmaster tacked on something like $8-10 in 'fees' per ticket. WTF! ok done ranting...looking forward to the event
Hi all, Just wanted to let everyone know theres 2 days left to get the discounted ticket rate. Its getting close, hopefully everyone is excited. We had a great turnout last year. I will be posting up a word doc this weekend that contains a name plate. Lime Rock has asked us to fill in our FChat name, print and place it on the windshield/dash for the event. Hopefully this will result in less confusion and allow members to identify each other easily. Any last minute questions let me know Brett
James - Friday tickets are not available. Friday is reserved for Ferrari drivers only Also, an update on the track time. The parade lap is going to be limited to 50 cars from FChat. Right now we are at 24 tickets sold, so everyone has a spot right now. If we exceed 50, it will be first come, first serve as to who gets to the track entrance in time. But as of now, everyone will get some track time.
All, LRP has asked us to print out the attached document and place it on the dash/windshield to help with organising the corral. Please fill out the license plate with your FChat name and bring with you. It will help the event staff and reduce confusion. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My wife and I are looking forward to our first Ferrari Challenge event! Just bought our admission and corral tickets. Is there a caravan from MA? What time do you all plan on being there? -Will Grigio Titanio 2001 360 Modena F1
I have an extra pair of tickets if anybody is looking to bring friends. I'm located in MA metro west and can drop them off or bring them to the event. Make an offer - it's going to be a beautiful weekend!
May be interested. Waiting to hear back if anyone can tell me if by chance their have been people in the past selling their personal Ferrari cars as i am looking. I am located in East Forest Park in Springfield, MA. A guy down the street from me owns a newer Lotus Elise that goes to some track as I see him pulling some track tires on a small trailer every weekend. Good way to introduce myself with a ticket to Lime Rock?
