    A couple main changes here. The tires are more square which means they will have more mechanical grip and be more effected by camber which will probably increase its chances to blister. Ferrari actually requested (or ordered) Bridgestone some time ago to make a more rounder tire to make aerodynamics more key than mechanical grip. This will essentially make it somewhat less aero dependant but only at non aero heavy turns, which of course there are not many.

    Also, Pirelli have said they want to bring the gap down from 1.2-1.8 second between compounds to .6-.8 between compounds. Some interesting tire strats maybe? I doubt it. I believe they will just be a bit more durable.

    The Pirelli marketing video I saw said the tires should be much less prone to blistering than last year.

    Interesting. Glad they are doing that. I would have believed more camber would make the tires more prone, but evidently they are beefing up the compounds in general to resist that nonsense. Red Bull should like that
