2012 NY-Tri-State Spotters Thread

Yellow Gallardo heading northbound on Sagtikos Parkway around 6pm today. Looked good in coming traffic and definitely stood out!

 

That Veyron lineup is unbelievable. I am not a Veyron fan but even that sight would bring a tear to my eye.

 

It is a great time. We do it every year. We stay at the Sofitel which is across the street.

The Veyrons look like the ones that were parked on Peel St during the Grand Prix weekend 2 weeks ago. Another great year in Montreal.

 

Black FF on the Merritt Parkway heading north around 7:30 am today just into CT border.

 

Saw one very yellow Dino 206 Competizione in Tarrytown this morning going up the hill past the hs. Took me a moment to recognize it. Incredible to see it out though!

I saw red Dino this morning on the Merritt Parkway near North Street heading north. There was a yellow 458 Spider out in front of Miller this morning too. Oh and a nice red Ruff 911 turbo from the 80's down by the water in Stamford.

 

Here's a car more rare than much of the stuff posted on this thread: yesterday on the side of route 80 going towards the Poconos, a broken down red Sterling 827 sedan...haven't seen one of those in years!

 

That was me. It was a great day for a drive.

 

Which is why most probably didn't last beyond the car loan payments The engine/tranny were Acura Legend- a great combo in the day- the electrical system? Well, lets just hang our head in mourning...I actually thought the concept was a good idea when the car first came out, but alas I was a young man not well versed in the evils of the Lucas Prince of Darkness philosopy of English automotive electrical systems

Napolis, seeing your car driving on the street would have been a treat for me!

 

A friend of mine was one of the first pitch guys on their TV ad's. He grew up in NYC and didn't even have a license.

Wow one of them is even a Super Sport, a 267mph $2,500,000 monster of which there will only ever be 30.

Saturday afternoon around 1PM, a red 458 east bound on Rt 27 got pulled over by Southampton Police.


Saturday evening around 11:30PM, a dark blue California west bound on Rt 27 in Southampton - exchanged waves (I was in the black 550 Maranello).

 

Black or dark grey California on Bloomfield Ave in West Caldwell this morning around 7:45am. A blonde was driving it

Red Audi R8 in Edison on Oak Tree Rd tonight around 6:30pm.
