2012 NY-Tri-State Spotters Thread

FoNJ had a Cali and FF out by Rt1 the past couple of days. Driving by I saw a bunch of cars in their parking lot, but never had courage to go inside and check them out.

 

Red 458 heading west on 495, by College Point, around 1030AM.

 

Gallardo Spyder in black at the Paramus Park Mall. Total ****** of a driver in a crowded parking lot with little kids everywhere.

 

I'm surprised at that. lol

 

red f430 spider (possibly a 16m) in wanaque nj, then heading north on 287. rare in that area since there isn't a ton of money. but nice to see it by my house.

then following it on 287 north another red ferrari passed us southbound. 348 maybe. possible a testarossa. i was distracted and caught it last minute.

 

Orange mclaren mp4-12c around 11am in Kinnelon on Rt 23 going south

 

Red 458 Spyder with top down, Rt. 17 Southbound, Paramus, NJ 2PM

 

Dbr1, 2, or 3 (not well versed in the older competition Astons) in the hamptons with an older white-haired gent at the wheel. We were sitting outdoors at a roadside cafe and heard this thing coming about a quarter mile away. Unfortunately went by to quickly to snap a pic.

 

I was gonna say woah, that was me, then i realized you said RED. Right car, right location, but 3 hours to early and wrong color.

 

Saw the same thing in Northbound lanes when I was headed southbound - about 1:30 on Monday

 

Only notable one from MDW was a Red 599 SA APERTA in East Hampton

 

Lamborghini Gallardo in Orange with Black wheels in Central NJ on Route 18 this afternoon.

 

Yellow Gallardo south on 287 near exit 37 this morning

 

Lamborghini Murcielago in Yellow with Black and Yellow wheels on local road in Milltown, NJ a few minutes ago.

 

Seen a bunch of 458's this week

Sunday night on Main st. in Westhampton beach a black 458.

Monday night a red 458 testing out his accelerator pedal on Deer Park ave. about midnight from Deer Park to Dix Hills onto the LIE. Lol

Then last night went to Toku saw a red 458 Italia, a white 458 Spider, a 4F in the parking lot. Then a white 458 Italia destroyed a vette and a 335i on the LIE heading eastbound about 10pm around exit 37, that was a treat!

 

I saw what I think was a 308 heading south on Rt. 71 in Asbury Park heading towards Ocean Grove at around 2 p.m. today.

 

SLS Roadster in that matt brown, heading south on the Hutch by Scarsdale aroud 3:30PM.

Black 430 Spyder, heading south on the Meritt around 5:30PM.

991S Cabrio in black on Tri-County's lot. (That may be the best top I've ever seen on a Porsche -- striking car.)

(I can't get over that silver FF at Miller. Making things worse, they moved it to the corner window so its pull cannot be resisted.)

What is it about photographers and M1's? I seem to remember Jeff Zwart owned (or still owns) - and loves - an M1.
