Great photos! You might need to show my the turns you are standing at Does anyone know what intervals do the classes go out and for how long is each session if anyone knows? 30min on 30 off?

 

Stop by the Universal garage and l'll give you the schedule. I used my truck to drive around to all the corners for shots and as an impromptu platform to get me a view over the fence.

 

Will be Daytona bound in less than an hour!! Oh, and I have a truck if anyone needs a platform what's the ruling on cooler and drinks, etc?

 

No rules. We have our cooler packed and we take the car to all the turns for shooting

Since this thread has more activity than the other Celebration show thread, I would like to give those of you attending on Saturday a "heads-up" about the person showing the red 275 Shortnose. Please see my thread under General Automotive titled "Liars, Thieves, Scammers and General Lowlifes." This guy is real smooth.

If you get into a conversation with him, ask him "just how expensive was that paint job?"

I won a court judgement against him, but unfortunately it doesn't cover my legal expenses, much less the amount I lent him.

I drove my 360 out to Daytona and was told that I could not enter the infield??
It was noon and there was a lunch break till 1:00 pm, Ok. Around 1:08 some cars came out and things were getting interesting until... a black Porsche blew a tire and spun right near turn four. It seemed that the track officials let the group finish their run before clean up. Then it seemed like everything went into slo-mo. It took forever to get the Porsche loaded on a flatbed and taken to the garage. Then a team did a walk of the track area looking for any small bits. Then a tractor mounted blower came out and made multiple passes along with an orange sweeper. Did not seem that anyone was in any hurry. It took almost an hour before any cars came out!!!! If I paid my money to be on the track, I would be pissed!!!!
I have done several track days at Summit Point (West VA) and got four to five twenty minute runs. How many runs, how long each, did any of you get?

I would love to drive the Daytona track, but I would have to think this real hard... is it worth the $$$ v.s. seat time.

 

If you tried to come in Gate 40 the Guy there was picky as hell! He wouldn't let me in when I told him I was a spectator taking photos. I dropped the "I am here with Ferrari Chat" bomb and then was granted access. Others had the same issues as well.
