I’d be interested to know what the highest real cash offer he’s gotten on this car. I’ll bet it’s 180. If anything higher was offered, it was back when he was asking 210 and he probably insulted that person as well. And they walked. Good luck trying to get top dollar as your car continues to depreciate.
In respect for the guy trying to sell his car. I am going to leave that out of this. It sucks selling things... But... U know what. Let's not get into it
From a dealer yes. But when selling private party you are effectively limited to cash buyers and slightly above wholesale should be the expectation. I looked in at this one simply because it is a beautiful spec. I bought a very similar coup here four years ago for less than the price that is insulting the seller. Coupe vs spider and a mileage difference but my experience in looking for Tdf cars is that while they get compliments very few potential buyers will actually buy one.
A dealer wld pay 185 to 190 for this car. If someone on this boars pays 195 to 200 it will be a solid fair deal all around.
For the right buyer yes 190+ but it will depend on timing and luck. And he will have to put up with everyone’s comments etc since we are all bored! LOL I would think if you were to sell it back to a F dealership straight out without buying anything with all the inventory and winter coming. 180 and below is what they would offer for sure. Thats why after service he took it home! I see this debate continuing until sold. Hopefully sooner for him than later.
Ive bought 50+ cars in the past 20 yrs - im a big fan of that color - same as my coupe. I’d pay 200k all day for it if i was a spider buyer, no stripe. I wldnt sell it for 180k if i were him. But what do i know - i have data and experience, thats about it. Because of his tude and tone everyone is taking it out on the car. Cars are inanimate objects last time I checked.
Ok. Im done with this thread. Im literally in the market all the time. I get 5 calls a week on cars before they get to market or goto auction. Lots of new experts minted on this board over the past month.
All BS aside, the market determines the selling price of everything. IMAO, the current market is friendlier to Ferrari buyers than owners. GLWS.

Next time I am in the market to buy, I will be looking for you and hopefully get linked up with a good deal prior to auction/dealer- unless you are a independent dealer?
