    There have been several sightings of the Aventador Roadster cold weather testing in Sweden. The car appears to have a multi-piece removable hard top similar to a Carrera GT or Koenigsegg. Not sure if this will be a 2013 or 2014 car because everything that I have heard has implied that we would see a four door car - SUV or Estoque variation - at Geneva this year. It looks like they did an awesome job making the roadster look like the coupe with the roof on.

    If it'll be a CGT like hardtop that's storable in the front end, I reckon we won't see it till late 2013 or early 2014. It'll hurt the coupe sales too much for now.

    Can't wait to see it...:)

    If they can do a removable hardtop that perfectly replicates the lines of the coupe, they'll never sell another coupe...

    I don't think that is entirely true. A top down experience without visually compromising anything is great but there will always be people who prefer a coupe. Realize that the Aventador is a carbon monocoque so cutting off the roof will decrease rigidity considerably.

    I hear that the Aventador will be a Spyder ( canvas top ) with electric motor no more
    Roadster having to do the manual struggle. I'd be surprised if Lambo comes out with a carbon fiber roof. Who would want the coupe when you have this? How would this store in the front compartment? If it does I suppose there won't be room for much else.

    If it is a hard top, it should be exactly like Porsche Carrera GT's (as is stated by Bas above)which was in two pieces and neatly stored in the front trunk. And it was easy and quick to take off and put on quite unlike the Murci's ragtop. I doubt from the spy pictures it will be motorized soft top like a Ferrari F430 Spider's but if it is, that would be ok too! Just as long as it is not like the Murci Roadster's top!
