On behalf of a good friend, I am selling his 2013 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor with 19,675 miles. This is a unique car because of the mileage, condition, and equipment. The car has had four owners, and I was the third owner. I sold it to my friend two years ago. He is deployed overseas and hasn’t been able to use it, hence the sale.

    Ownership history:

    10/12-3/13>Michigan Sheriff’s Department: 10-1142 miles
    5/13-10/19>Atlanta, GA (Owner 2): 1142-6930 miles
10-19-4/23>Webster, NY & Tampa, FL (me): 6930-19170 miles
4/23>present Lakewood Ranch, FL (current owner) 19170-19675 miles

The car was only driven in the winter during the first few months/miles. It was then in the Atlanta area, and I stored it inside for every winter during my ownership. I considered it a “collectible car”, as did the Atlanta owner. It has been stored inside in FL for the last two years.

The Taurus PI does have a lot of "street cred", particularly on the Interstates. Drivers are less likely to block you or pull dumb moves like cutting you off to pass, etc. But, for some reason, it doesn't seem to have the same affect on the "make-up appliers" :).
That said, the real benefit of the car is probably the robust build specs, including the fact that it is literally "bullet proof" physically and mechanically. It also gets good gas mileage.
