NBC flubs at the end.... I didn't know Ferrari was running 3 cars in the event! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Rather ominous that Kimi could 2 stop and back off then set a fast lap at the end. They are stronger than they look, Lotus are possibly. Great stuff. Worth getting up early for today.
I like the post race debrief. This is something Speed didn't do. Also I like the side-by-side racing with TV commercials. Bob Varsha coming back next week? So, it's Speed reprised?
Yep. Not quite sure if I like the studio set. Looks nice but I liked the informal chair talk of the Speed set.

-Gearbox problems for Nico -No KERS for Webber for 10 laps -Grosjean only had Saturday to set up all the new parts of his car, 2 dry laps hence his pace issues today. Kimi had the parts longer.
i can't help wonder if lotus is proving healthy for kimi, thinking about comparison to his stint at ferrari, he seems more part of & more in tune with this team, and visa versa
Clearly. The team are not putting a collar on him so to speak. They knew this up front and I doubt he would be with them otherwise. It appears things are on his terms. Good for us!
that's exactly what i mean, and it shows, not just because of the race result today, but his entire demeanor & interactions with the team, very good!
I think their final tyre choice was suspect. He was going much faster on the Medium. The supersofts they sent him out on for his final stint sent him backwards.
So much for certain someone's saying that Lotus looked like they didn't really update the E20 and therefore will suck. Forza Kimi, best start to the season!
