2013 NY Tri-State Spotters Thread

In East Hampton today 2x Nero 599s within same 2 mins. BRG 60s era Lotus race car. Silver Aston DB5. Just outrageous what you see here during the first real spring day. Yesterday, Rosso scud with grey stripes eastbound on 27....personalized tags "scuderia" (I guess in case we couldn't figure that out on our own)

 

Black NSX in Howell. Black 355 Spyder in Freehold.

 

Spotted 106/107 by LIE entrance red 430 Spyder with carbon rear grill going on a tow truck. Hope everything gets fixed.

Fchatter's car?

 

In my home town, Allendale NJ with Jerry and Chris Rock, coffee at Allendale Eats and Lamborghini parked in the adjacent Train commuter lot. I did not see it in person, but a friend told me about it 2 hours ago, and showed me pics from the iPhone, I look forward to seeing the episode.

 

Nothing terribly exotic this week (didn't see Jerry or the Miura), but here are a few notables (almost all on Rt. 17 in Paramus):

Black Audi R8 Spyder, a pair of blue Maserati Quattroportes, a blue GranTurismo, a yellow C5 Z06 and a red C6 Z06

 

Rosso Corsa 458 Eastbound on Sunrise highway from fifth ave to the Oakdale merge one day last Tuesday being stalked by an old CTS who just wouldn't get off his bumper at about 90mph. Absolutely ridiculous what people will do to get a picture I guess. Anyway, if you happen to be on here, your brake lights were stuck on and sometimes flashing very rapidly(i think it was when you tries to activate your blinker since it was whenever you changed lanes).

 

355 in my favorite Le Mans blue on Peninsula Blvd in Hempstead parked outside a body shop. Been there a few days.

Saw a blue 550/575 W/B on RT25a in the Setauket (I think) area. I was driving my 360 E/B, but only saw it at the last minute and couldn't wave or see who was driving it.

Chris I'm disappointed was it a 550 Maranello or a F575? Was it Pozzi Blue, TDF Blue or NART Blue?

 

LOL, I saw it for a total of .75 seconds! I'm not that good. But based on location, I have to guess that it was Mario in his superamerica.
I can say it wasn't Nart blue, but between the other two, it's a guess. I'll guess TDF blue for now

Yesterday I saw a Black 430 Spyder travelling N/B on Nicholls RD, near Rt25 in Selden at about 5:50 PM

 

Lamborghini Aventador, midnight blue, pulled over on Rt. 17 in Saddle River around 8:45am.

 

Ok, spotted in MD but with NY plates. Nero 575 northbound on I-95, pulled up next to my Grigio Titanio 575 yesterday around 3pm. Pretty cool to have two 575s next to each other randomly. Wish I could have gotten a pic of that!

 

Red 599 northbound on Hutch last night around 645 pm near White Plains/Mamaroneck exit.

 

Yesterday between 1 and 330 pm

Grey Ferrari 458 Spider with Montana plates parked just off 11th Ave in the low 20s.

Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder in a very nice shade of deep red/maroon stuck in traffic driving west on 23rd Street

I love the Montana plates. I'm thinking of getting them. I saw several Ferraris yesterday and Coffee and Cars and WWoC that had them.

 

Other than cars at C&C and at the NY Auto Show: Black R8 Spyder near the GW Bridge on the NY side, white R8 V10 near the Lincoln Tunnel, bianco Ferrari 599 on the West Side Highway following me out of the Javits, Rosso Corsa 599 in Ho-ho-kus, NJ.

 

About two hours ago, I was passed by a stunning Rosso Corsa 458 Italia on Rt. 17 near Saddle River.

 

At around 8:30am today, spotted a Black FF with dealer plates going eastbound on the northern state pkwy through Nassau county. It was being driven in a gentlemanly fashion too! I suspect it was headed for FoLI as it got onto the LIE service road in Plainview just before the dealer. Lucky for me I was able to keep up for a few miles - it was a nice treat to start the day.

 

Grey 612(?) around 8:30am in Caldwell today.
Black 458 around 9am in Livingston,NJ today.
