    Well, I see that nothing ever changes. Been following from the beginning.
    The announcers are so pro Audi I can't believe it. They finally got around to mentioning the Ferrari, all the while showing the R8.
    BTW. Audi has full factory support

    One other interesting point.
    When they did mention the Ferraris they showed Waltrips car Hmmm NASCAR racer.

    Now that the Porsche took the lead they show the pass and then all Porsche.

    Well the Dener Porsche that the Brazilian team was running took a dump...so RB apparently didn't get too many laps...maybe he will come back next year and I will try to make it down to see him again! :D

    Agree the love Audi...WOW are they kissing some Four ring arse! Don't really get why...did Audi provide some "special services" to the announcers? LOL

    If you notice with a 5 second cut to the 1st place 458 and then to the Weathertech sponsored Porsche they went to a big Audi commercial and the n a little while later a Weathertech commercial.
    This is the major thing that bothers me about racing coverage as opposed to say NFL, racing has commercials by participants.
    It will always suck for that reason.

    I agree to a point Chas, but all it takes is the marketing teams in the series to bring on other sponsors. It works well in other sports with better marketing.

    you can't compare the business side of racing to the stick and ball sports...totally different environments (with totally different markets and ROIs).

    racing, especially US sports car racing, is an odd bird in a lot of ways.

    4 hours left...still more than most "sprint" GA/ALMS races.

    top 3 in GT is a Porsche, Audi, and Ferrari, all on the same lap.

    top 5 in DP are all on the same lap too!

    god I love this race :eek:
