-2015 Mercedes' engine will make this years' look like a lawnmower's

-Teams will vote for completely changing engines' rules for 2016

-Bottas joins Ferrari, with Arrivabene at the helm and even more money from Marlboro a new Ferrari era will begin in 2016

 

I had meant to comment on this during the race but forgot to. This is absolutely correct and it was publicized when it occurred.

 

So, the double point system instituted for the last 2014 GP didn't play any role in the WDC.
Bernie's attempt to artificially spice up the last GP of the season backfired.

I hope the idea will be abandoned in the future.

 

I thought it was confirmed that the double points would not be back 2015.

 

That could have many meanings, I quite like that.

Gentlemen, my handle is what it is due to Ferrari's road cars of course. MB lost site and went for the coin with their road cars a long time ago, not so with Ferrari for the most part. My daily is an E class but it's a far cry from being anything special.

Another congrats to Lewis though. Bravo and well done sir.

 

Congrats lewis. Ive never seen a more deserving champion.

 

Im a huge nico fan however lewis was the better racer this year. Next year we shall see i expect them both to come back stronger than ever.

 

Nice to read some genuine comments about Lewis's success at becoming a deserving 2 x WDC, from his fans and not, but I have noted the absence of certain individuals ....hardly surprising though.

 

Classy comments all. It was a great (though at times contentious) season.

Looking forward to winter testing so that we can all start to guess how far ahead of the field Mercedes still is or if McLaren has caught up.

Hoping for more teams to be closer to the WCC's next season.

It was a great season finale! Given LH stats in wins its more than proper and he did it perfectly today.

I hope next year we have something close as its nice to see competition last. Not be settled by race 10 or so!

It stirred interest and conversation so maybe Bernie isn't too disappointed.

 

Nobody responded. A lot better looking than Nicole (who's real name is Maria Caliente) IMO. She must be her sister, brother's G/F, or LH step-sister (dad is too ugly to be half-sister. Ha ha).

Predictable finish, and not in the order I preferred, but well deserved. LH is becoming less arrogant, so good for him. If mercs still dominate next year, hopefully Nico can get the title next year. But I'm hoping for a BIG improvement in Ferrari, even if they're not championship-winning material next year. Have a good one folks.

 

I've just got back from the circuit. What a day, what a spectacle. Abu Dhabi is a great venue for spectators. As I roamed the pits afterr the race, two events stood out. Firstly, The entire Ferrari team turned out to celebrate the end of Fernando's time with the team - including Piero Ferrari and Kimi. Very emotional. Secondly, Hamilton spent hours with the Merc team thanking each and every one of them for their efforts this year. Good man.

When I get more time, I'll try and put a proper write up together.

Congrats Lewis. Well deserved Double WDC and as someone else mentioned previously, the first man to with the WDC with 2 different teams since MS. Great achievement.

I just finished watching the race.....how anti climactic.....what a shame for Nico.....another easy win for Mercedes. The real star of the year is Mercedes...even Nico could have won with them!

 

If only we could end all the 2014 F1 threads on that note.
