You poor darling. You had a 50% chance of getting that right, and you failed. How many schools? hahaha
*gasp* Christian Horner has reportedly split with his long-term partner six months after the birth of their first child. We reported late last year that the 40-year-old Red Bull team boss and his partner Beverley were expecting to be parents. "I'm very happy about it - it's going to mix things up!" Horner said at the time. On Saturday, publishing a paparazzi photo of Briton Horner on a walk with Geri Halliwell, the British tabloid The Sun said the pair is "dating". 41-year-old Halliwell, better known as Ginger Spice of the former British pop supergroup Spice Girls, was seen "walking arm-in-arm" with Horner near her London home recently, the Daily Mail newspaper agreed. If true, it would mean Horner has split with his partner of 14 years, Beverley Allen, just six months after their daughter Olivia was born.
Boring as bat-poo race and I have a few questions: 1. Did anyone else notice the stands seemed almost empty apart from the main straight - place looked deserted? 2. Are Aussie Red Bull drivers cursed???? (Hope not!) 3. How come Renault-engine Red Bull cars are sponsored by Infiniti- don't Renault think they can compete?
Yes noticed the stands. Looked like a crowd you'd see on a Thurs / Fri. The racing sux. The noise sux. I also hate that its now a fkn economy run. I keep watching youtube vids of anything circa 2002. Even found an old Video of the 1994 German GP. The Bennetton Verstapphen pitlane fire, 350km/ph down the straights. Too many regs. 1 car taps another, all of a sudden they have a 10 second penalty. Its also too safe. Make a mistake and instead of going off the track into gravel ,everything is paved so there's no ramification. Have never made it through a whole Abu Dhabi race. Same as Skyline at Bathurst. You used to see cars going through there airborne through the gravel. Now its paved and no longer a challenge All this makes for very boring motor racing Can't say next weekends race will be any better!
I didn't mind it to be honest. At least it's on at a convenient time of the day/night. But I agree, the whole fuel thing is laughable.
They'd still do 350 at Hockenheim if the circuit was the same now. I bet they get close to that at Monza this year - IIRC top speeds are faster than last year. I'd like the fuel thing if they combined it with freed up engine regs, but that would cost a lot, which I guess is a problem. The "economy run" rules at Le Mans this year have resulted in Toyota announcing that their new car puts out 1000bhp!
They should make F1 races 20 laps long and just have 2 races in a day. It would be more entertaining than what we have now. Why keep the 300km rule when they change every other rule. Also it looks like Dan did get Webbers car
Interesting race, was not that exciting but I still enjoyed it. How unlucky was Ricciardo! Till Bahrain.......
Infinity is Nissan's premium brand, as Lexus is for Toyota. Renault is the controlling shareholder of Nissan.
I also enjoyed the Malaysian PM laughing and joking with Bernie, moments before the MH370 "tribute". Both looking very distraught, not.
Do you think Daniel's penalties were fair ? Seems they gave him a penalty for this race (10 sec stop/go) then decided to ream him again for the next race
That's a specific thing in the rules - unsafe release = 10sec stop/go + 10 spot grid penalty. Which is not to say it's fair, but it has to be that way unless the rules are changed, there's no interpretation or leeway available.
