    My roof squeaks: 458 spider with the top up - my roof squeaks. Anyone else? Any fixes? No problems with the top down.

    I do not have squeaks on my 2015 458 Spider but I did find a paper soda cup in the well that holds the top. No idea where that came from but we are the third owners. I suspect after a maintenance when the engine cover was reinstalled the cup found its way in there. After removing the cup and vacuuming out leaves etc. and giving it a general cleaning I used a light lubricant on all of the hinges. You may want to open your top part way and inspect the area. Lubricating seals and gaskets might also help. In total I spent 20 minutes or so.

    If the seats are too far back they rub on the leather firewall and squeak.

    This. Confirmed with an hour drive this morning.
    Also, I don’t drive with the top up.

    Normal squeaky. Same on Corvettes, BMW, Lub the rubber seals it will go away.

    I will post product BMW uses when I get. Back to garage.

    Agreed, I even did this on my '84 911 Targa, but eventually had to replace all the rubber.
