For those who are ordering a new bespoke car from the factory, now or in the near future, and are interested in choosing the new "beige tradizione" leather, attached is what it looks like. This photo was taken at the Ferrari design showroom ("Atelier") in New York. It's a new California T backbone seat. I love the slightly darker tone, compared to the former beige. I'm ordering it with rosso corsa and castoro carpets. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looks fine although unless compared side to side hard to tell. BTW jaa, I think everyone on the board knows you are ordering a car by now. I know you are excited but you can probably leave that sentence off every post....
Ignore comments. I appreciate your enthusiasm. Thanks for posting this photo. I agree with you, I much prefer the new shade. You may want to offer this photo up on other forums, like California. I'm sure there are people there that are ordering new cars that plan on choosing beige as well.
No question - go with Cuoio. I'm told the factory is already having "issues" with the new beige tradizione - ouch!
weird - its looks cuoio like when compared to the old beige, but doesn't look anything like cuoio in the photo with just those two. Can anyone show a pic of all three at once?
I don't have a photo of all three together, but I did compare them all side by side. I can see what you are saying, but in person, there really is a clear difference. Cuoio has a more redder/brownish tone, where beige tradizione is about two shades darker than the former beige. Here's a pic of cuoio compared with beige tradizione. You can see the different a little better. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have recently ordered my F12 in Rosso Mugello with the Beige Tradizone Daytona seats and Castoro carpets but am thinking that I might switch to Cuoio/Cuoio before "red 10" arrives. The beige does look a bit yellowish to my eye and my request for Cuoio Toscano was turned down. Given that the factory will be closed during August, I have some time to think about it.
i heard the factory may be open for the first two weeks of August and F12 production will supposedly be accelerating (pun intended) - have my fingers crossed. As an aside, with an IPO scheduled for October, they may want to get as many high priced cars shipped by 9/30 to show a blow out quarter. That could explain why there might be the extra two weeks of production.
Make sure you buy some polarized sunglasses so you won't see the reflections of the dash in the windshield. Light colored dashboards are very distracting in the daytime.
Thanks - Living in Florida I have a collection of Polarized sunglasses Also had two previous Ferrari's with Crema dash - very bright indeed
