    for four or five years I have published an annual summary here of the market for 246 GT/GTS Dinos based on a data set built up over the last decade or so.

    The latest version is here: Cars: We All Fall in Love With Our Models

    It contains:
    Data on prices from the last 45 years
    Data on auction prices for the last 25 years
    Classic Car magazine's estimates for the past 30 years and;
    Orsi & Gazzi's data on global Dino auction price for the past 20 years.

    If you want to re-upload it here, feel free. I (still) don't have a paid subscription for reasons you can find by searching the 2014 data out.

    Happy New Year.

    Thank you for publishing your excellent statistical analysis of the Dino market for yet another year. Always interesting, always thought-provoking!

    In this year's Review, I was particularly interested to see that the huge discrepancies between asking prices and realistically estimated values, are very much a part of the UK RHD market as well. I had noticed this disturbing trend in continental Europe, but thought it might be something peculiar to that market. I have paid only scant attention to the UK market, partly because it involves mainly RHD cars and partly because the Dino prices there seemed completely insane to me. I just did not understand the UK market. I still feel that the UK market is crazy, but now I can add the disclaimer "based on asking prices at least".

    I am posting two of your charts below: The first showing Asking Prices, raw data. The second showing the discrepancy between those prices and Classic Car magazine's estimates.

    Some may object to the Classic Car magazine's estimates, saying that they are always a bit low, or lagging the market. I do not think that is fair. Their values correlate very well with Hagerty's value guides in the US, for example - once you correct for the slightly higher UK RHD prices. So, I believe the charts below illustrate the asking price discrepancies very well.

    And a Happy (still fairly) New Year to you too.
