Ham's tires were dead...that's why he pitted (he said it as he dove in for the pits and Nico passed him). The rain just happened to come RIGHT as he pitted and the team went with inters and the rest is history

    Timing is everything in life...

OK, so now you tell me again that there was no luck involved...
Not that I think that the victory is undeserved but it took not much and it would have been completely different. With the rain just half a lap later in that strenght and Rosberg would have not lost almost 10 seconds before the stop within one lap when he was catching up...Hamilton did not need to pass anyone on track (thanks to the pitstop) and the rain came exactly at the right time...

It doesn't get much better than that for Ham on home turf, a well deserved win 11 sec ahead of his team mate enuff said :)

Other than that you can believe in luck...it explains away the success of people you don't like....

This was a great race long before Hami took charge. Williams shot themselves in the foot and Seb lucked out

Congrats to your man. Drove very well again.

But, surely even you must concede he got a little lucky with his stop? A lap earlier or later and it could have been very different.

    "That's racin' "

I was gonna say Nico deserved the win. But when they both pitted ham was +7 sec and managed to up to +12 on not that many laps which then came down just before the end when the leader slows down.

Luck was certainly involved. Vettel was lucky, Ham was lucky (claims he called the pit though and if he did that was genus). Nico was unlucky. Kimi was unlucky (or stupid if he decided the pit and not the team).

I think a number of people deserved to win today. Shame Bottas couldn't get his first victory but those williams are **** in the rain - is it the driver or the car? we all know massa sucks in the rain anyway,

For Pete's sake, don't say that to Bernie; he once talked about fitting sprinklers on each track to spice up the racing!!!
