This might be the most exciting hard to overtake race of the year I don't mind any of the Top 3 winning even Vettel Even tho Merc dropped the ball yesterday I still think they have race pace. 7hrs to go Forza Ferrari + Ricci
+1 Overtaking has never been easy. Nor should it be IMESHO. +1 Seb seems to be working well. I beg to differ. I have no idea why, but their wheels seem to have truly fallen off...... They just seem all at sea. Will it last? Doubtful. No doubt they'll win both titles, but at least we've got something to watch. Cheers, Ian
Looking forward to it, one of the few races recently where Ferrari have a genuine chance to win, and hopefully double podium. Can't wait. Forza Ferrari
Lap two, Elton will hit some poor sap trying too hard to win on lap one with a move designed to use someone else as a braking post hahahahahahaha..... Races where Elton starts behind always fill me with dread, he's behind Kimi, and alongside kyvat, both of whom need results in this one, Elton will make the assumption they 'know who he is and will move aside' and neither will, so I'm expecting some carnage. If they get away cleanly, you are still looking early laps as things are feisty at the midfield with mclarens trying hard to get their one chance of a result nailed on
+1 My guess is he'll definitely tap someone with his front end. Likely proclaim that it was his right of way despite it not being so. A no points race for hamilton might put Vettel back in contention again...the chance is tiny for a title, but still there!
I have nothing against Lewis as a person or a driver, but I have to admit I get a bit of joy when he faces adversity. Nothing to do with Lewis the man, but because I know the crazy fanbois will be sitting in their lounge room screaming at their television, blaming everything and everyone....a bit like when someone blames the referee when their football team loses a match.
The look on his face when he parked the car yesterday was fantastic. Utter disbelief. Bet the fanbois had the exact same look! I do find it hilarious to hear him whinge on the radio when he's not winning (even 2nd he sounds utterly miserable).
As it was only qualy, he did park it in parc ferme, wait till later, if he doesn't win, wonder if he'll try to park it out the way and go off to sulk like he attempted at Monaco (just before the bridge, trying to emulate Senna when he crashed from the lead there
Going to watch ADAC GT3 start at Zandvoort (starts at 13:15), then sprint home after a couple of laps to watch the F1...
Are you absolutely sure? The wily fox might be right up there until his engine grenades. It would be funny if he can get in the mix for a few laps!
I think Mercedes have been a bit naughty with their tyre pressures and they have obviously used it to great effect by dominating the sport this season (and indeed last season too). I don't think it was just limited to the Monza race either. I think they have been doing it for a fair amount of time now. So, when they got their hands slapped post race in Monza, there will be no more underhand tactics and we'll probably see a much tighter end to the season. I for no other reason can see why else Mercedes are so off the pace when they have dominated the entire season and been mega strong at tracks like Hungary (despite Hamilton's excursions) and Monaco this season too. Now all of a sudden they come to Singapore and are a second off the pace when they have been a second ahead usually? Come on! All in my humble opinion......
The rules were changed for Monza. The rules were changed because of an exploding tire on a FERRARI. If anyone has been benefiting from tire pressure monkey business, it was Ferrari.
