Whatever. Trying to flip the script now.
Go read my first post. I thought Vettel was out of order with his behavior after the race.
I got attacked because I don't think Vettel's crap smells like perfume.

Now I'm the villain because I had a problem with his attitude after the race.
I never even brought up his driving in Spa. It was just the outburst I had a problem with.

Some sensitive Vettel worshipers that attack everyone and call them crazy when they don't agree with their worshiping.

 

ANY driver who complains after a tyre explosion isn't "out of order" in my book.

He just expresses his emotion, and communicates it the way it feels.

It's a great pity that rather than seing that, you find it funny to attack Vettel and those who agree with him.

I would add that your prose pollutes this forum, constantly.

Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it and normally I wouldn't.

I'm not a big Vettel fan and he certainly doesn't need me or anyone to defend him. But to criticize any driver's emotional state after getting out of a pants wetting episode that was not of his doing is over the top.

I think that needs to be said.

 

I thought the incident could happen to any driver and has happened many times in the past. To me he was out of order. You think it's fine. THAT'S IT, END OF STORY.
If more people did that instead of replying with their crap perfume and calling others CRAZY I wouldn't have the need to defend myself.

 

Exactly Bob, common sense allows any driver a curse and a shout after a blowout like that..... some people just have no understanding of real life. Like you, I'm not a massive Vettel fan, although as a Ferrari fan and owner I cheer for him and Kimi, and can respect the ability of the guy. Alonso was and is my favourite driver of this f1, but I recognise that his personality traits are not to everyone's taste, but to me, it's his skill in the cockpit that make him number one.

Exactly!!. Funny thing is people think they know Alonso and his personality and yet have never met him and then "hate" him ... weird and sad.

All we can judge with sports people are their sporting achievements, and in that area Alonso was impressive. MS was too but unfortunately he did a few not so cool things that dropped my opinion of him a little.

I'm fine with people having different ideas and posting them. Heaven knows I get my share of scorn too.

But there's a limit that people will tolerate.

Now, if I could only practice what I preach as well!

I will say this. I don't think anyone really understands the pressures that drivers and crews go through at this level particularly but at any level of racing. It's fair to criticize mistakes but criticizing their emotional state when things go wrong is over the top.

Exactly. In a sport where a TENTH of a second in a corner is the difference from being competitive or not, the goal is always perfection. The danger is death...or worse. There are not many "sports" in which that is the case.

Lack of emotion in that situation would be a red flag. Emotion is the correct response. Otherwise Vettel should retire and go fishing.

 

so that's it.......all these posts you've made....all the put downs....all the contrived explanations about the difference between delamination and a tyre failure, all the fanboi and hater comments, the posts about Ferrari's strategies and Pirelli's tyres, trying to school everyone on here about F1 etc etc etc.....and all you had to say was "Vettel's out burst was out of line and he should have kept his mouth shut IMO"

We'll see how big the acceptance will be the next time someone has a moment on camera, ignores FIA officials, and throws a global partner under the bus without any data to support it.

Does this mean that tesla was trolling, official then, as according to what el Wayne posted about rules, trolling is when you post puposely to get a reaction from others on the board and gain a negative reaction. He has just confirmed this was the case.

Note: I didn't call anyone crazy at any point, and in England, a fanboy is a fan of a particular team, player or in this case driver, such as a Manchester United fanboy, an Andy 'whatever his name is tennis player 'fanboy or fangirl of course, or whatever. I don't think fanboy is a detrimental word to use, but maybe I stand corrected?

I find it very weird that you wouldn't understand that people don't like the way you act on this board. Your admission of what you have been doing may be enough to get yourself banned, don't blame me for what you write. In the meantime, I am doing my best to ignore you as best I can despite our previous history of arguments, but when your posts are repeated by others, I get to see them. I am simply pointing out what you yourself have advised up you are up to, I didn't ask you to post any of it.

Many people reply to you, asking you to clarify your position, explain yourself properly etc, which you never do, and you have just admitted that your purpose is to set people up for future antisocial reasons. You may notice, if you bothered to read my posts at all, rather than guess at my thoughts on a matter, that I'm not a great proponent of Vettel, but I respect his ability and am a Ferrari fan, on a Ferrari chat board, so why you would consider I want to see you banned to prevent you speaking up against him is beyond me, I couldnt care less about your opinions on anything (refer to my disclaimer to every single post I make).

What I can say is that I am trying my best to make sure that the F1 forum gets better, and this means trying to ignore some of the confrontations that occur in the F1 section much more than just about anywhere else on fchat, and I would prefer you not to make any further assumptions about me or my opinions unless they are proven. We have had a number of confrontations over the past few months as a result of the way you portray yourself in the forum, and you reside on my ignore list so I can have a little peace from it all.

 

What admission? Nobody can even joke or be sarcastic when replying to some hidden agenda?

Never say anything negative about Vettel, even if he has a childish outburst.
Never say anything negative about Ferrari.
Never bring up any other great driver that doesn't drive for Ferrari.
Never joke around.
Never be sarcastic.
Never defend any bashing of other teams/drivers.

Basically, always agree with the older members like a robot and you'll fit right in.
