    hey guys..

    been considering one of these... what is the deal with the MOTOR failures? something about "E"-"F"-"G"??

    seems like a lot of motors being replaced by Porsche... I know its a great handling car and a lot of fun, but

    the potential motor issues bothers me... Car im looking at has an "F" series motor.

    Porsche has warrantied the internal engine components for 10 yrs/ 120K miles....there is no worry

    Ok... so did as suggested. Yes warranty extended for 10 yrs. But not worth the headache! seems like MY 2016 with a "G" engine may be a safe bet... thanxx

    Only problem is finding a ‘16.....they made many more ‘15s than ‘16s

    I had heard some engine problems with 991.1, but then also heard by 2015 it was resolved? How do you know what series engine you have?
