Beautiful car. Great color combination with the white and the "Spyder Classic" interior package in Garnet Red.

The 981 Boxster Spyder is an astonishing car to drive. Just incredible. Similar to the 987 Spyder, I don't expect these cars to ever fall too far below their original MSRP, and I would expect appreciation after a few years and certainly in the long term. They are extremely special cars.

    (I have a PTS 981 Spyder, and it's a keeper for me.)

Nice! But will you Americans ever learn that it is CarrAra white (like the Italian marble), not CarrEra white?

So, they name the car the Carrera after the Carrera Panamericana (carrera in Spanish meaning "run") and then name their paint Carrara white (after Carrara Italy) and we're confused?

Its named Carrara white not after a city but after the marble Carrara (a blueish White), which comes from the city of Carrara.

True, the Romans built the borough to house workers at the nearby quarry, naming the town Carrara, and naming the marble after the locale. In a roundabout way, we're both right, and as an American, I can distinguish between the car's name, and the paint color...
