    Good evening all,

    My 2016 California T has occasional problems with the center screen. If the car sits for a few days without being plugged in the center screen is usually dark until I plug it in for a few days to charge the battery up. Recently the screen was working fine and I brought the car into the local dealer for the brake master cylinder cap recall and when I picked it up a few days later the screen was blank. I figured after plugging it in for a few days it would work again but that is not the case. When I press the button for the front camera the screen works perfectly fine but none of the other functions work. No radio, no bluetooth, nothing.

    Any ideas on what I may be able to do to correct this?

    Check with your dealer if you have the last info T softwares update ( probably not )

    Do you have Apple Carplay? If so, unplug your phone, the screen will instantly come back from black. Not sure what causes this, but I run into this issue from time to time.

    Classic issue, software update need to be solved by Ferrari dealer ( info T, CarPlay, front/rear camera)
    If the dealer are not sure he has to check for the last Softwares Rev available with the Ferrari's support in Italy.

    if the cameras work, but the radio doesn't, usually that is a problem where the radio (NIT) doesn't receive the proper canbus codes from the CANBOX. The camera feed to the screen is coming from the PKIN (parking camera ecu) It could be a loose wire or connector between the NIT and the CANBOX. Iif the red LEDs on the dials turn off then its a problem with the CANBOX. If the LEDs stay on, then it is an issue with the NIT itself
