What's up with the 67 Ford GT? Just turned the TV on and I saw them pushing it into the garage...

The shot of the Porsche, followed closely by the Ferrari and the Corvette was epic! It's a perfect modern day interpretation of the golden years. :)

    Great racing so far.

So far I think this has been off to an awesome start! The Lambo's are surprisingly quick, the DeltaWing is very competitive, 488 engine is holding up so far, etc, etc. Great stuff!

Are these mandatory cautions? That's pretty damn stupid.

both Ford GTs having trouble now :(

cautions not mandatory but the second one wasn't necessary IMO.

I agree. He brought it down to the bottom and was still moving. That's a NASCAR phantom caution lol.

I stepped away just for a minute but was the second FGT problem the ripped brake line I think they said? Did I miss anything else?

Am I really seeing the DW in P1 on IMSA scoring? As one of the 6 or 7 fans I'm happy to see that

    Absolutely abysmal officiating.

How is it that IMSA (NE: NASCAR) does not throw a full course caution for a car that
is dead stick smack dab in the middle of Turn One but they'll throw a FCC for a
car that simply spins off the track and returns with no issue?

Inconsistent at best, dangerous at worst.

A disgraceful incident that is directly the fault of the officials.

I agree on the caution but that driver had total head up ass. All the cars that came into frame were at a slowed speed except him. Never even saw the flags. What ******.

Blame squarely on the race control officials.

They'll throw a yellow if a driver's girlfriend breaks a nail in the pits. But a car stopped
in the middle of a high speed, blind turn, "Ah, shucks, he'll be okey, let them funny
    name furrin' drivers go racin".

Hindbaugh was incredulous "Inexcusable!" and he was absolutely right.
