Castrol did add castor oil to its formula beginning in the early 20th century. But that was when the oil was petroleum based. Synthetics make blending castor oil into the formula unnecessary (if not silly). I'm not really sure why they thought it did, but they made the best race oil pre-synthetic era. And the smell was unmistakable. Anybody who was in the pits in the '60s and '70s, knows that aroma

No problem, gents. I can easily segway back on topic... 1. My BMWs had a notation stamped into the oil plug on the valve cover to use genuine Castrol motor oil. 2. BMW had a Formula 1 team. 3. Speaking of Formula 1 teams, the 2016 debuts should happen around February 20th. There - back on track. No harm, no foul.
And now BMW uses Shell as factory-fill. Shell sponsors Scuderia Ferrari F1... Firmly back on-track, I will add.

Ferrari and Haas both to have filming day on the 21st in Spain. Get some valuable early miles on their donks plus shakedown runs out of the way earlier. I wonder if the rumors of heating problems on our PU are true? I'm ok if they have made even half the rumored changes and if the SIM numbers are close to what is speculated that would be terrific. You can make a fast car reliable. I'm feeling even more bullish about my predictions that we will start the year as clearly the fastest car on the grid
