^ what a coincidence. I have an SLS also. Totally different car yet both are enjoyable. In much different ways. Good luck with the search. BTW if you are going to daily drive it I would recommend getting the front lift option. I use it all the time. Wish I had a 488 too.
Nice! I wish I could keep the SLS but not enough room in the garage. Time to move it and looking forward to the change. The rs and 488 will be the toys in the garage. I'm still searching for the right car. Some crazy asking prices out there. I'm patient looking for the right spec and the right miles and the right deal. Hopefully soon.
So I might have gotten an allocation for a 2018 gt3. Need to see if this actually pans out. Might go that route.
The 991 GT3 is a great car and I'm sure the 991.2 will be even better. If you can find a "reasonable " RS you won't be disappointed. And if you buy from a Porsche dealer you can use it as leverage to get a new RS. That's what I am hoping for anyways. There's such a huge swing in pricing on these the search can be frustrating. Can't make a wrong choice either way. Good luck! I think Porsche of Plano has a low ADM one and there's a White one in Atl for $215K.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I've had 2 deals on an RS fall through. Then a dealer yesterday supposedly offered a .2 allocation. I don't know yet if he is pulling my leg or being serious but I'll let it play out and see what happens. At the end of the day, can't go wrong with either car. I'm enjoying the chase and trying to find the right car. Let's see what pans out. Rs prices are settling in significantly so lots of options. I'm recovering from surgery to repair a torn Achilles' tendons so Ive got a bit of time before I can drive the car so taking my time.
Update. I have an allocation for a summer 2018 GT3 build and delivery. Im gonna pass on the RS and get the new GT3. Im paying MSRP and have given a deposit of $5000.
So I have paid my deposit and have every intention to get the 2018 GT3. However, I came across a 2016 GT3 RS likable to my color and spec. Im debating if I should get the RS now and either trade in for the GT3 next summer or keep both. Hmm.......decisions decisions. Sometimes the chase is more fun than actually getting the car. lol
observation... all those interested, seem to be more involved with the car's pricing and the badge it wears over any virtues the new badge or any advancement the car brings with it... while tripping over each other to gain early delivery...
Lol- sorry guys. Got the gt3 rs. It’s an epic car. 203k msrp. I paid 214k. Yes I paid over but don’t really care. It’s a phenomenal drive. The sound the handling all of the above. I’m a convert. Very impressed.
Huge congrats. Great garage. Very similar but I can’t wrap my head around giving up the 458.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
The RS is a great car, and honestly it deserves to be on a track to get full enjoyment. I sold mine just didn’t have the time to drive it like I wanted to, and the PDK in the RS is a mother. The .2GT3 in my opinion will not be an RS two different cars, and the RS looks the part mean as hell. I sold mine above MSRP and got the 458 which I find fun to drive at any speed. There will be a .2 GT3 RS which I may grab pending on my driving time I can get out of it. The new GT3 is a beast as well, but I wouldn’t pay the premium if you wait you will get MSRP once hype dies down. My new 458 and my divorced RS. Image Unavailable, Please Login
