Ill be there weather look good.
Didn't see a 2016 spotter thread but I was followed home by a nice red 458 coupe, from Manchester around exit 63 all the way through Tolland, it went on toward Stafford.
Another busy weekend for me... helping our cousin get back to college today so I won't be able to make it. Heading to NJ next weekend so looks like I won't make it to Gbury until after Labor Day.
It has been a while since we have gotten together for dinner and now that the summer is starting to wind down, I was thinking maybe we should get something on the calendar for September or October? I was thinking that Bricco's in Glastonbury might be a good central spot. Anyone interested?
This weekend is looking good. I am going to caravan to Glastonbury in the morning with a friend and his car. Anyone interested in meeting in Vernon, maybe, for the drive down. He was talking about bringing a recorder and asking if he could make some sound clips of some cars. Is everyone cool with having their car recorded for a sound clip? I can't wait, it's been too long between visits for me, but it has been an awesome summer.
I won't be able to make it this Sunday but maybe you can see if anyone else is interested in dinner and I can starting getting a few dates together for us to consider... I was thinking a Thursday night.
Brett and I are planning on going to Lime Rock this Sunday for the car corral and show. Taking the 308 and the F12, so unfortunately won't make Glastonbury. Is anyone else planning to go to LRP?
I may be in Glastonbury tomorrow after all if the weather holds out. Our plans to head to NJ have changed given Hermine is coming up the coast.
A nice turnout for the Labor Day weekend with a few faces we haven't seen in a while. Steve, great to see you again and beautiful Vantage. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was headed west on 44 in the Boxster and caught these 3 Ferraris, 328, 308, F12 heading east in my dash camera. Anyone I know? Image Unavailable, Please Login
John, I did a double take when I saw your car but didn't react in time to wave. Did you go to LRP? Dean, Brett, and I got there about 9AM and had a good time. Left at about 1:15 or so. Lots of really nice cars of all vintages. Just felt a little weird going backwards on the track to get to the Ferrari parking. Was also a little disappointed at the low number of Fcars.
We were going to head up there in the 355 but weather seemed questionable in the morning we waited and then took the Porsche. Since it was late we ended up bypassing Lime Rock and headed down to Cornwall Bridge for lunch. But what a great day for a drive.
I would try to make a dinner get together, but the next several weeks are crazy with house remodeling and some short trips. If you guys set a date let me know and I'll let you know. Phil
