    I'm thinking about replacing my wife's 95k MB GL350 diesel with a 2016 RR diesel. Anyone have one yet?

    Why diesel?
    6 is powerful and returns 21 mpg in mixed driving for me.

    My wife test drove a RR diesel on Wednesday and loved it. I rode with her and it is almost silent on the road. Much quieter than her current GL350. She will probably order once next week. Very nice interior and plenty of power. RR claims 29mpg/hwy.

    i cant speak for the RR diesel, but i recently got a BMW x5 35d.
    and let me tell you , diesel is definitely the way to go on the bigger suv's.
    i get about 29.5 mpg in mixed driving. Let us know how the RR does after a few weeks.

    Buddy of mine bought one for his wife about 2 weeks ago, has been in the shop all but two days. Various issues so not sure if it's the new diesel engine or not.

    I learned my lesson with RR many years ago.

    I do love the way they look though.

    Bought the wife a 2016 RR td6 today...traded the 100k mile 2011 GL350. The RR has a much nicer interior and quite than the GL350. The torque seems stronger than the GL350 too. We'll see how it performs over the next 95k miles or so.

    interesting, i had a 2013 RR hSE for 1.5 year, and never had a single problem

    My next door neighbor has a 2015 (purchased in 2014) RR supercharged V8 and has had not one problem with it. He says it's the best vehicle he has ever had and does use as a suv. He tows a large boat and a enclosed snowmobile trailer that fits 4.

    Before he purchased the vehicle he went online and talked to people and came to a conclusion that people who never owned one will tell you they are junk but if you talk to the current owners they will tell you they are reliable vehicles.

    When it's time to replace my suv I will consider one.

    I wish RR make a true 7 passenger. My wife is on her 3rd GL550. Don't know what else to buy.
