2017/2018 NHL Season

Good start to the season

 

Will the Canes make the playoffs? Will the Flyers make the playoffs? Will Nashville maintain its mojo? Will the Caps win the Prsident's Cup by 20 points and then get blown out in the second round? Will we be able to tell if the Leafs won or lost a game by their fans' reaction? Can Detroit bounce back? How many Canadian teams will make the playoffs?

 

Hard to believe in 24 NHL seasons this is Jagr's first Canadian team he's played for.

I would have loved for Pittsburgh to sign him and have him retire there with one last Stanley Cup.

 

That was ugly.
Can't remember a beat down like that in recent history of the Pens.

Just when you think the Carolina franchise has some promise, they do something so stupid... named "co-captains". One guy will wear the C at home, the other on the road. Oy Vey. Let's Go Flyers and Let's Go Don Earle!

 

I can't see the Jets keeping Maurice at the helm of this talented group. How embarrassing have the last 2 games been OMG 13 goals against in 2 games! CMON jets hire a coach that can coach defence. I can't watch anymore.

Not bad for an expansion team

 

Leafs held on to win here at Carolina last night. Natives here getting even more restless. Justin Faulk shadow of his former self. Mediocre goalkeeping would be a big step up from what we have here. And don't even mention Flyers. Canes have Nashville tomorrow here in Raleigh and if they get killed I'm expecting some big changes...even though Francis, the GM things the ice age happened too fast

 

Ovechkin lit the Leafs up with 3 goals.

What a classy gesture by Ovechkin to invite that young cancer victim to the game (who is a huge Ovie fan) and then have him stand beside him during the post game interview.
