I posted this earlier on the wrong forum. So sorry if you have seen this already. Can anyone let me know the difference from the series 1 challenge 488 to the series 2 488 challange evo. It seems the price difference isn't that big. I know there was some changes to the ecu and possibly titanium connecting rods? I'm looking at 2 different cars the series one was a track day toy its a 2017 has just 4000 miles and is around $150k with no spares. Its in immaculate shape with very little wear but really no history of maintenance. the Evo is a 2020 ex racer just under 8000 miles and has a load of spares and is about $190k. The evo seemed to be well maintained by a pro crew. The price difference isn't huge. I'm just trying to determine which car will be the better choice. We are just going to use it as a track day toy in my collection. any thoughts?

Also can a early 488 challange be updated to an Evo spec car with out a full rebuild?

There are many changes including brakes, aero, software and some other things. Mine is also for sale if interested. $190K with 3 sets of wheels, new radio system, DSA, VBOX and new fuel cell installed earlier this year. LMK if interested.

Very similar to other peoples replies to you there’s so many differences that’s very difficult to list one thing to keep in mind the evil car and an upgraded car with the properly installed Evo upgrade kit (65,000) are exactly the same. The biggest visual is the front bumper in the steering wheel, here’s a link to my site that has many more details
