    Bummer. Tell us more re: what happened.

    Would also be interested in who your insurer is and how they handle the claim (I am thinking about switching from one of the national carriers to a higher end / specialty carrier.

    Unless hit and run or uninsured motorist, you will be claiming on their insurance company and you will need a large amount for "diminished value" unless totaled out. Was this serious crash or minor damage?

    Sorry for the late response. I picked up my Car at the LA dealer and drove through malibu on my way to Irvine for a meeting with a banker. I was giving one of the guys a test drive and i was at the light waiting for it to turn Green and this chick in a new jeep rear ended me. I had not added it to my insurance yet but luckily it was completely her fault and her insurance is coving everything. Small fender bender but estimated cost for a new bumper and deck lid installed is about 20K.

    As far as the insurance question I really probably a bad example. Multiple tickets and one accident so my insurance through Geico is about 2K a month.

    Beautiful ride, mine comes in April - can't wait. You would figure she would see your red beauty a mile away. BTW your insurance is nuts, I pay that annually on the FF. Not sure about the CaliTHS yet.

    It's my record plus I have four other cars on the policy with teenagers. I think the Cali was 700 a month.

    Ahh ok well that makes total sense! We have 2 little boys at home right now and that entire insurance thing will get interesting!
