CX is happy to present this 2017 Ferrari 488 GTB Spider! This highly optioned 488 will be available on the CX platform this Friday, 5/21. We encourage prosepctive bidders to

This 488 was special ordered by Ferrari North America for one of their private race clients and hand optioned by Ferrari and built for him and delivered new to Algar Ferrari. This particular 488 is loaded with options including lots of carbon fiber in the interior and exterior, front axle lift, Daytona Seats with Red inserts, color matched seat belts, colored brake calipers, shields, Carbon Steering Wheel with tach lights. The car has full front PPF on the fenders, bumper, headlights, bottom rockers, mirrors.

This car is still under the Ferrari CPO warranty. It just had an annual service performed by Miller Motor Cars in December and another fluid service performed in March of 2021. Prior to that the car was serviced its entire life at Algar Ferrari until its current collector in CT acquired the car and had the services all performed at Miller Motor Cars.

Very nice looking 488. I have a question about your platform. Who is responsible if the car isn't as promised? It appears you have 5 days to transmit cash payment but there is no discussion on your site regarding PPI or inspection of vehicles other than the independent one you did. It doesn't really say who did that independent inspection report you list and whether it was a Ferrari dealer or anybody with experience and spends a tremendous amount of time delineating that you have no responsibility for the accuracy of the inspection or the car's quality. It also plainly states you are solely providing a platform for sale and have no responsibility that the car is as described. Personally makes me nervous since there doesn't seem to be much protection for a buyer.

There is always an inherit risk of buying a car site unseen or through an auction. We are trying to mitigate that by providing as much information as possible. With respect to the inspections, we know owners can often be the best source of information on their car. From its history and nuances, that is invaluable information to be passed on to the next owner. However, we like to have that verified through a third party! The Vehicle Report is completed by a licensed and/or qualified professional, independent third party (“Third Party Inspector”). CX will provide the form to be used by the Third-Party Inspector. On the bottom of all CX reports is the name of the third-party inspector. We are happy to connect the two parties or answer any questions beyond what is displayed. Again, we want to ensure that a third party is included in the process, unlike others who simply rely on the consignor’s word.

We always try to include and urge owners to supply all available service records on all cars. This Ferrari had its 2020 annual service record (done in December of 2020 by Miller Motorcars) and additional documents supports its history.

We at CX are available to all parties pre and post auction. We simply don't just connect the buyer and seller, we handhold the entire process and control the documentation, to ensure that all parties are happy.

Your post says the auction would be live as of 5/21.

However, your website shows you have no current live auctions and no past auction results.

Is this 488 your first auction?

Maybe the app shows something different. I choice not to go look.

The link from my iPad shows empty auctions and throws up a server request note ‘looking for header content’.

From my IPhone the link works and I see the 6 auctions including the 488.
