I don't know. The Halo had one of the verticals dead center. If something flew up and hit that, it could break and go straight towards the driver. However, if the driver had a rollover, the Halo would provide more support than that Lexan.
Being new to f1 this year, is it expected that Ferrari will not fair well at Silverstone? Seems like the cars have been (relatively) underpowered compared to Mercedes, so perhaps the track isn't to their liking, seeming to be fairly quick?
I think we have new power parts coming which should give us more power in qualifying. I'm not sure if it's enough. I expect Mercedes to be top dog in qualifying, but for the race Ferrari should be right there again. Bottas used a lot of extra power to defend from Vettel in Austria apparently. If Ferrari is a little closer to them here than there it should be a good fight. Right now they're running a different program than Mercedes, presumably they're focusing on pure race pace from the get go. Looks promising to me.
