Guess Checo needs to qual better and race better than Ocon or be forced to sit behind him again! -- https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/132605/force-india-set-to-lift-racing-ban-on-drivers Force India set to lift racing ban on drivers after F1's Mexican GP The Force India Formula 1 team is set to lift its ban on team orders after another strong performance in the United States Grand Prix. The team clamped down on allowing Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon to race each other after a series of incidents through the 2017 season. In Japan, it ordered them to hold position when they were together on track and did the same at Austin - with both drivers falling into line. Ocon finished sixth with Perez eighth at the Circuit of the Americas to help the team move 91 points clear of Williams in the constructors' championship. With only a maximum of 129 points remaining, and its closest challenger for fourth place having scored just 68 this season, Force India is likely to secure the position in Mexico. When asked by Autosport when the team will lift the ban, chief operating officer Otmar Szafnauer said: "Probably [after] one more race. "We have just got to get through one more race and hopefully by then we'll have clinched fourth place. That's what it is all about. "Once we get through that then maybe we can relax and do things a bit differently in the last two."
Ferrari need to just race for their pride now, a one two would be fantastic, but I'm on the fence as to whether Mercedes will really struggle at a track they hold the fastest lap at, and have yet to be beaten (I think?). Forza Ferrari, hopefully Mercedes will feed their guys some iffy nachos and guacamole..... give them the ****s before the race

Ferrari ditch familiar red for blue & white in protest - Mexico GP 1964 "Coming in to the race Ferrari had taken the unprecedented step of racing under the blue colours of America at the preceding round in the United States, Ferrari having refused to race under their Italian racing licence over a dispute over the refusal to allow homologation of the new 250LM for GT racing (at least 100 cars would have to be produced to meet the criteria). Ferrari in protest entered the cars of Surtees and Lorenzo Bandini racing under a new banner, the North American Racing Team. The Briton was second in the new colour scheme at The Glen, and with the dispute still rumbling on, he would race with it again at the all-important season finale in Mexico." https://thejudge13.com/2017/10/25/ferrari-ditch-familiar-red-for-blue-white-in-protest-mexico-gp/

How will Liberty make this a spectacle? Mariachis strolling throughout the paddock and in the stands? Pinatas all over the place? Free cerveza!
Perez is at his home race and will really want to show off to his fans. Not sure how that will play out if Ocon is in front of him. I really hope the two Force Indias don't take each other out. Max on the other hand is still seething from having is 3rd place taken away but the stewards via 5 second penalty. He will really have something to prove this race. I think there will be a big discussion at the drivers meeting about track limits again.
