WTF?!? If anyone should stay behind & work on their scheming, it's Matt Patricia! If they had stopped Nick Foles just once in the 2nd half, Tom Brady would have to get a 6th finger surgically added. The NE offense was great, even without Cooks. Their D cost them a 6th SB...T
Jerry Jones is stable compared to Irsay. So, if you're head coach of the Pats, would you rather be moving forward with the 40 year old GOAT or the Next Big Thing (Jimmy G)? T
LOL. Did you forget this gem?!? http://ftw.usatoday.com/2016/11/tom-brady-facebook-blocking-video TB12 has mad run/block skills. But, yeah, stick to throwing them, not catching them. Hands of stone! T
49ers give Garoppolo a 5 year, $137.5mm contract https://www.boston.com/sports/new-england-patriots/2018/02/08/jimmy-garoppolo-signs-record-5-year-137-5-million-contract
Started the "NFL 2018" thread for those of us whose teams stunk last year & so are looking ahead, not back! https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/nfl-2018.569195/#post-145809959 T
I have heard of Janus, Keith. But, let's face it, only those few of us lucky enough to be fans of the reigning Super Bowl champs have the luxury of looking back. The rest of us got "next season"! So, did you go to any of the parades & such? T
Just back from a 30 day ban which was well worth it but I digress. Keith, I prefer my crow baked. Congratulations... But I still hate the IGGLES!
Some friends of mine attended the Eagles parade today, and were even interviewed on the Channel 21 news!
I noted that Trey Burton was only the second Florida Gator to throw a touchdown pass in a Super Bowl. When I saw that the first was Rex Grossman, I didn't even remember that Grossman and the Bears had even made it to a Super Bowl! I thought that my football history memory was pretty good, but with 104 teams having played in an SB, I guess it's hard to remember all of them.
Wow. Thought there'd be more Gators tossing the rock in the SB, but my alma mater not exactly known for its QBs. T
Welcome back Mark. As Spock said to Captain Kirk: "Your absence was keenly felt." I flew back Tuesday from PA. I'm too old to start drinking at 6:00 am and stand around for 8 hours in 20 degree temps so I missed the parade. I'm also short, so unless I'm in the first row, I don't see nuthin'. I attended both Flyers parades on Broad Street (75 and 76) and still remember them. A great day for the city of Philly and long suffering fans. Thanks to everyone for the congratulations extended.
