OK, so it's 2019 related, but good to see someone with some talent not just money getting signed to Williams (OK, so he has Merc money) Shame he's probably going to have the worst car on the grid https://www.planetf1.com/news/williams-sign-george-russell-for-2019/
Hopefully he doesn’t follow the lead of his fellow Brit and change into a total wanker now that he has an F1 seat Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I don't like him...and i guessed i already have a lot of Brits pissed off by stating it in the f.1 section...that thing is becoming unbearable, the orcs are running free around the place and no one bothers to hunt them down!
They only ban Tifosi, the others can say what they like, even roast Michael Schumacher for his injuries, but you dare to humourously suggest they are ‘on something’ or ‘a bit stupid’ and that’s it, ban time for you! I’m not sure the mods realise, we get their drivel posted in every single thread, trying to justify Elton at every turn as some kind of god, thinking they will convert people to the cause, and eventually, people snap, some (like me) pretty quickly. We get banned for arguing, but why doesn’t the person trolling for the argument get done too? I think fchat rules are to be diverse, give others the chance, so in this case it’s demonstrating the f1 section is all inclusive, not elitist. However, is that what 95% of the site want? To be run by the 5% with weird views? Doubt it
"Vettel does not shy away from the fact that Ferrari has thrown away a golden opportunity to win the title" So Ferrari's fault then, and not the driver? https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/vettel-ferrari-needs-to-prove-it-hasnt-lost-the-plot/3192673/
Well done, Champion elect! What year @ Ferrari, replace vettel? https://www.facebook.com/mickschumacherofficial/?__tn__=%2Cd%2CP-R&eid=ARDjaPnOZ9TC18D3GMBWB3EBxebVJP5m1VzB8UhRPbhraL2ovRjYmYtqJTkXI64rZyt7ChYBvPbssu-l

I stopped posting in the F1 section long ago after being called a racist for not agreeing that Elton is the GOAT. I don't have time for such nonsense, especially when I'm married to a minority. It's particularly offensive. But I will also admit to only scanning F1 races this year as well. I am completely and utterly bored. Vettel is making mistakes out of desperation and is not coming across as the caliber of driver he can be. Kimi has been backburnered and could have done better if he'd gotten more support. Max is a loose cannon that I have not liked from the beginning. He knows zero humility and has no respect for other drivers. You CAN be competitive without disrespecting your competitors and the sport. I believe F1 has a lot of work to do to gain the audience they need to keep racing. The factories will only dump money into a losing proposition for so long and only so many have that money to dump. Now that Ferrari is in corporate mode, rather than racing mode, I am afraid nothing will change for the better. I hope, but I am not overly hopeful. In the meantime, can someone tell me why the US never televises rally?
................and if someone had given Dan a fast reliable car, he,all by himself, would have made F1 into something worth watching! I think this year has cruelled him and we'll see a different, harder bloke next year.....not necessarily for the better....
You wont like this, but hear me out, IMHO Dan has become a bit of a money whore, he sees his chance of becoming a world champion shrinking, so is milking it for the money instead. GOOD ON HIM, i have total respect for his choice, i would have done it years ago, he has earned it, fully. He chose a massive big pay cheque from Renault over less paying but better winning option of Ferrari and/or Mercedes, and dark horse for 2019 RedBull, he chose with his head, totally the correct choice Unless Renault can perform a miracle [i dont see it] he may never win a race again Alas $66 million says he won't be so upset after all....
If one has zero chance at becoming a champion, then it severely limits their options in the future. Champions get all kinds of endorsement and job offers. Non-champions, not so much. The smart move for the future is to get as much as he can now so that he never has to work again. I don't blame him one bit.
Guy Edwards has died, former F1 driver and man who pulled out Lauda from the burning car. 5 years + 1 day after his son died. RIP
https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/139417/correction-guy-edwards Turns out the above was fake news. Some horrible people about. Guy Edwards is alive and well.
