Holy crap.
Good job Will Power. Too many yellows for my taste. Still, an exciting race. I'll see these guys up at Road America in a few weeks.
What a grand day for Australia! Ricciardo and Power winning two of the biggest races on the planet! I think I'll eat at Outback tonight.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
good race. I didn't mind the new aero package despite it getting trashed on social media. not as much passing but the cars were a handful and separated good drivers/cars from the rest. not a Will Power fan but Roger's 17th....that's incredible.
Eh...it was okay. I was hoping for some actual battling for the lead at the end rather than 2 cars pitting and Will taking a clear lead with no fight. The F1 race wasn't that great either imo.
When not one but two cars leave the lead to pit with one or two laps, I have to wonder if the "fix" is in. Heck, that close to the end, you'd think at least one would gamble on coasting across the finish on dry tanks. Even if they didn't stay up front, losing a few spots coasting would still be better than pitting and coming out at the end of the line.
The new aero package put Danica Patrick where she belongs . . . . until the wall and retirement. Good riddance.
We say aloha to one Princess Sparkle Pony. Please disregard my nakedness as I dance thru my kitchen in celebration of her retirement from racing.
Which is where she belongs. She will be hosting the ESPYs soon as well. Will I be watching either? Helllllllll noooooo!!
Aaarghhhh . . . . The BEARS open the season against the Packers. So, I'll be forced to put up with that straight out of the gate.
Well, I did go to Outback and found an appropriate dish: Toowoomba Shrimp-Topped Filet. Remember that Toowoomba is Will Power's home town. And the steak was pretty good. If I had thought about it at the time, I should have washed it down with a Red Bull, in honor of Ricciardo's Monaco victory. Oh well, congrats to Daniel anyway, and at least the Ferraris finished in front of the Mercedes.
What the heck was with that team manager of Rahal Letterman, they interviewed him after that last yellow and he spoke with confidence that Servia didn't need fuel, then it goes green and he lasts like two laps and has to go in for fuel with 5 laps left. Who the hell botched that calculation. I was looking forward to a shocker winner.
Joke on social media says she wasn't invited to the Espys so she will be crashing them. Here all week, try the fish, tip your waiters.
